Guest guest
MArge, welcome home from the Hoggans! Take time and know you are well loved and appreciated. Praying for a fast recovery for you. Love the Hogganclan MARGE E CARLISLE <MargeClpa@...> wrote: Hi Folks, I'm up and running... well not really. I came home from surgery on Friday. The doctor removed discs C 3, 4 and 5. He put in some hardware to keep the spacing of the spine as if they were still there. I have about a two inch incision whichh is looking great. I do not have collar because the doc felt with my " short fat neck " that a collar would push my head up too much and I wouldn't be in a very straight line. Of course I'm on drugs... the first night I was asking them every two hours for an recharge. Last night I went from 12:30 til 7:30... pm on one set of drugs. The hardest part is being an achon with a cpap machine and sleeping on my stomach. I'm trying different pillows... but nothing seems to get it just right. If anyone has any advice on a pillow I'd appreciate it. Butch went out and got a shaped one... but it's really for sleeping on your back or side. If I'm on my back I can't get up or roll over unless Butch comes to help. typing can be difficult if I don't find the hhome row .... time to get to the couch thanks for all the love, prayers and emails marge ===
