Guest guest
Can anyone sense or feel their knee prosthesis? I'm 5 weeks post op, bilateral. My walking is very stiff. I'm not feeling very much pain unless I do lots of exercises. I think I'm feeling the prosthesis. Could that be? I'm also feeling a bit depressed today. Could that also be from this knee ordeal? Guest guest
Yes, Marley...I can feel something different in my knees....kind of heavier than it used to be. I have stiff days and loose days. I had alot of pain after my vacation and took a half of a percocet and slept it off. That reset my pain level to zero. Some days I'm up...some down...some even mad as hell for no reason. Will someone please pass me the dish of prozac? We have been thru probibly the most brutal surgery short of a major accident you can have. We made it thru and there may be some post tramatic stress to it. At least we can walk tall and know that it is over. Peace, P
Guest guest
Hello Susie, It's hard to describe what I feel. It just feels weird. I'm hoping when my muscles and tissue grow around the prosthesis, it will feel more normal. I have a little numbness on the sides of my knees. I think that's normal. I am feeling better. My younger son and his girlfriend visited me last night and fixed a barbecue. My son is a joyful person and very loving. He always lightens my heart. On the other hand, he is very impulsive and immature which has made my hair gray. Marley >Hi Marley, >I not sure what you mean feeling the prosthesis ? Peace, P > Hi , > You say it just like it is, How old are you ?
