I pity any poor PTA who tries to work with either of us unless they know their stuff. I'm not mean, but I know how much knees hurt, and don't really know how I'll react. I'll probably be checking into Rehab facility for a couple of weeks since I'm by myself.

Maida and : I am a P.T., too! But I did not have the joint

surgery, it was my husband. He had a THR a year ago. Really gives a

new meaning to Home Health P.T.! Good luck to you guys! I guess my

advice would be to be open to what your P.T. recommends.

Hi Maida,

I had my RTHR five years ago but I 'm have to use a cane I think its because my left knee bother me sometimes and I had my right Knee replacement that was two years ago my leg is still numb but this year I did start going bowling so thats neat I like it if you would tell me how your really doing afterwards but I think your do good because you know what to expect and helped a lot of people.Well good luck to you and have a good days regards juneflower 60 Susiemaidak2003 <maidak2003@...> wrote:

Hi I'm just a person that had a Hip and Knee replacment its been five years ago I just wanted to say don't go into a nursing home its the saddest place to try and recover I don't think they should make people who had Hip and Knee replacements to go I think it makes it harder to recover seeing all those old people and they put you in the wheel chair most of the time and that keeps you from learning how to walk good.
