Guess I'll get on an antibiotic regime tonight and get to the DDS ASAP. Sherry AAOS advisory statement on dental patients w/total joint replacements I am 7 weeks post-op. I saw my surgeon today. Table 3 of the AAOS recommendation suggests several antibiotic regimes. I have taken the Clindamycin 600Mg 1 hour prior to the procedure. It's a one time thing.
