I'm due to have my teeth cleaned again too in fact overdue.

Guess I'll get on an antibiotic regime tonight and get

to the DDS ASAP.

Table 3 of the AAOS recommendation suggests several antibiotic regimes. I have

taken the

Clindamycin 600Mg 1 hour prior to the procedure. It's a one time thing.

It depends on the dentist and what you are having done

I have been to a few that insist on antibiotics no matter what, others

don't care at all, just let them know what your situation is

Either way I have not had any problems with infections it is more of a

precaution

I use CS that I make myself. It kills 100% of every bacteria

known to man.
