Guest guest Posted December 10, 2004 Report Share Posted December 10, 2004 Dumb question! Are the stems for the ceramic balls not metal? I thought all stems were titanium or some other type of metal. I thought the THR was made of 4 parts being the stem, the ball, the cup and the liner. I know that balls and liners can be different materials and just assumed that the cup and stem were metal. The ball and the liner may be metal (ball and/or liner), poly (liner), or ceramic (ball and/or liner). But there is always some metal in there somewhere. > > said: > > > What has happened???
