Guest guest
HI Tim, I had mine done last year.. at 26.. Sounds like you have what I do.. Apparently it's very common with younger hippies in terms of the pin inside the thighbone being stiffer than the bone around it.. and therefore acting like a pivot inside.. Hurts like ***** but does calm down after a while.. Mine still niggles a bit 1 year on, but only when I have overdone it, or consumed larger quantities of red wine (?). Give me a shout if you have anymore questions.. Guest guest
Tim I hope by the time you read this you are feeling stronger, better. From my own personal experience, RTHR at age 50, 2 yrs ago, the pain you are experiencing is not typical. What sort of exercises are you doing? I walked as much as possible those first few days home but did not exercise that quickly after surgery. Hang in there. --- Helen Clanin <Jellybean@...> wrote: > Just hang in there it will get better every day. Guest guest
Hi Tim Sorry to hear you are in so much pain. I'm 55 and scheduled to have a TRHR on 4/20. I'm curious. What type of surgery did you have? The traditional type with a long scar or a " mini " with a smaller incision and less invasive type surgery? About your Doc. My wife had a fusion in her neck last year and her doc may have been a genius in the surgery room but he had the personality of a rock. Getting info out of him was next to impossible. Luckily there are these boards out there. Keep this in mind, your Doc made four or five thousand bucks doing your surgery and you are as much a customer as a patient! Dont be silent... Hope all works out well for you and please keep us all updated on your progress. 29 days and a wake up. Danny > I am a 32 yo man. Yes I did say 32. Guest guest
Caroline, You know I noticed that myself. Dang thing almost feels like a tendon hang every so often. Stopped in the past couple months though. I also for a short while had issues with my knee's. From what I was told that was because I was this side of bow legged from DDH and things where re allining. One thing that made me just insain for a while was (and I have no idea why it did this) My left rear cheek would just get a ting when I pent over. I was figuring that it was something to do with yet another musle in there, went away after a while but hey it was agravating.
