Guest guest
I had advanced degenerative arthritis in my left hip, not sure why but I have had pain since I was 14 yrs old and trouble walking for the last 2 years. My OS told me that I was ready for replacement when I was 25 yrs old, but I waited until 31. My OS did not order PT for me, he does not usually for a hip. I'm not trying to rush things I was just wondering if little aches & pains with certain movements were normal? I actually have no pain at all when walking unless I have been on my feet to long, like shopping or something. Then I know to sit down and take a break, which I do often. And those pains feel more like muscle fatigue than hip pain. When did you start to bend past 90 degrees? Can you cross your legs yet? My OS told me that I could start stretching and bending a little at a time, but not to rush it. Are you working, or back to work? Which hip did you have done and what kind of pain are you having now, is it like the pain before your surgery? I live in Northern Michigan. Take care, Becky
