Guest guest
DEAR PHYLLIS, OH, I AM SO SORRY. DON'T FORGET TEN PRUNES AND A HOT DRINK. I WISH I COULD BE THERE TO HELP YOU, BUT ACCUPRESSURE WOULD NOT BE A GOOD IDEA IF THERE IS A BLOOD CLOT. DO KEEP US INFORMED. I AM SENDING YOU STRENGTH AND I AM HOLDING YOU TIGHT. MARGE HE LIVES! Hi Everyone.. I was bragging how good I did when I came home from the hospital, but I am paying for it now. I somehow developed a leg cramp in the calf of the knee that I just had replaced and it hurts so bad I can't even walk.
Guest guest
I'm sorry you are having this pain Phyllis, hopefully it will pass soon. Maybe the doctor can give you a muscle relaxer or something to ease the cramping. You will be back to yourself in no time, this is just a small hurdle. I'll keep good thoughts for you. sandiin due time <justaladyintx@...> wrote: Hi Everyone.. I was bragging how good I did when I came home from the hospital, but Iam paying for it now. Its like haveing a charlie horse cramp but it wont stop and Iam so miserable. I stayed in bed all day because it hurts so bad to stand on my leg. The Nurse thought I might have a blood clot but I don't see any swelling. I have to have blood test taken tomorrow since I'am on cumiden (spelling?) to prevent blood clots. I'am not sure I can even walk to get the test done. Iam so depressed, not only the cramps But Iam also dealing with constapation and thats something I went thru when I had my left knee done. I felt so good when I came home from the hospital I was so excited thinking I was going to have a better go around then I did In January.. But I think I just burst my bubble! Guest guest
We are all allowed to have bad days, bad weeks etc. Get the tests done, surely if they really thought that you had a clot they would not be leaving you for a day to get tests. Have you been wearing the ted stockings? Strange as it may seem they might help the pain levels reduce. Good luck, and hugs to help you over the next few days. Guest guest
Thanks everyone for your encourgement.. The Dr office wants me to go today to check for a blood clot. My PT doesnt seem to think I have one, but today I finally can walk a little but the cramp pain is still there, just not as bad. I've been in Bed for two days because I just could not get up and walk. You mention a stocking? They never offered me that but I do have a support hose, do you think that would help? I guess I'll find out today what the results are to the blood clot.
