Guest guest
Hi a. I had my Knee replacement done two years ago .My leg is still numb from the operation but I had a hip replacement five years ago that still bothers me most people have 18 stanples I had 38 stanples . I think having my Knee replacement done was not as hard as the Hip replacement but you do go through a lot of pain with the Knee replacement . I;m sorry if this isn't with you wanted to hear.Well I wish you luck. Susiea <twhwoman@...> wrote: Hi folks,A couple of days ago I posted an introduction and asked afew questions. Guest guest
I guess the reason I didn’t reply was because I have hip problems and not knee but I would like to give you my 2 cents on a couple of things. My mom has had a knee replacement so I think I know a little. One is that, surgery is traumatic to the body. Since you are already fighting cancer, I would say that you don’t want to overdo. I also personally believe that double surgeries are not that great an idea. Yes, you get them both over at once, but I like having a “good” leg to fall back on. When you do both, both legs are out of commission until you regain strength in both of them. I heard somewhere that MIS was the best way to go. =-) Blessings, Vera
