Guest guest
A valid point! I do know in CA that the application for a pharmacist is that he or she must sign if they have had a license revoked or suspended out of state or in state. The must provide all information and details. California does not have to grant the registration or license just because they applied. This is the same for nurses, techs, doctors etc. Fingerprints have helped identify pharmacists who have had licenses revoked even if they have not committed a crime per se. It may not be foolproof, but it is better than it once was. Ca also just added that LiVE SCAN fingerprints must go to both DOJ and FBI. I think this helps with a all nation data base. Della, resident pharmacist may have an other point of view for us. Any other pharmacists out there care to share? Guest guest
while I'm not a pharmacist, but i have been told that some states won't let you become a new pharmacist in their state unless you either graduate from a pharmacy school in their state or have kept up the license in your previous state. so if this bad pharmacist was only licensed in Ohio, that would limit the states he could practice in as well.
