Hello Sommy,

It varies from 3 weeks to 6 months, depending upon your personal

answers to the application and what they have to check out, and also

how busy they are.

I have found it takes longer between August and October because most

students start school in August, September and October because they

go to schools that have classes that begin then or they went to a

voc school and believed that they started classes then just like

traditional schools. So there are many many more students who have

graduated done externships etc aroung this time of the year.

So I would say probably the earliest that you will hear is 4 weeks

from the time you send it in.

Keep us posted!

What school in Ca and where did you attend?

I see that the link won't work. So, cut & paste this

one...http://www.ca.gov/state/portal/myca_homepage.jsp. Then go to

" professional licensing " . Then " check the status of licensed

professionals " . Then scroll down to PHARMACY & click on " Pharmacy

Technician " . You enter your name here & it will tell you if you are

licensed...if you don't find yourself...your application has not been

approved yet.

The link works IF you do not use the last dot or period after the 'p' in jsp.

Try this:

http://www.ca.gov/state/portal/myca_homepage.jsp

If this does not work I will remove this post.
