I also digest it in foods and drink. But typically I use it for baking, frying, and general cooking. BTW, why are you asking while at the same time touting the above VCO? Also what does a gal. cost/ Qt.? pint? Pete

Guest guest
I also had trouble with oil, flax being the first oil I tried for my health. I have gone through several. So when I bought my fist coconut oil, I was completely indoctrinated with the unsavory knowledge of what it is like to take oil, so I was absolutely not going to like CO either. But I am happy to say that something finally dawned on me. Try this. Put a swig of water in your mouth first. Then, with the water, put the spoon of oil in and then swallow together. This effectively does not let any oil get on any surface of your mouth and so the taste, texture is not ever felt. I did this for a few months, and then one day, there was some oil residew on a spoon and I wanted to wash that spoon, so I just tried and licked it off without water. Lo and behold I discovered that it was actually OK tasting. Now I do not need to use the water method anymore. I have adjusted to the taste and now I drink the oil outright. ________________________________ From: Karl <karlyrau@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Wed, January 26, 2011 7:43:33 AM Subject: Brands?  Hello all..we are brand new to the group.
