Guest guest Posted June 25, 2008 Report Share Posted June 25, 2008 Oh my goodness, I was soooo nervous. I wasn't even supposed to find out until Friday but I decided to just check. At first when I pulled up the exam results page, I got an error saying it was being updated. Figuering that was good, I waited a few mintues and tried again and it says I passed! When I first saw it I was sure I was reading it wrong, so I printed it out just to make sure and it said the same thing lol! I can't even think straight now, talk about the weight of the world! But I guess that was the easy part, now on to register and try to find someone who will hire me with no hands-on training or atleast be willing to take me in and train me some before giving me a job. I wish I was there to help you find your first pharmacy job. My advice to you is to get into a big hospital and learn all aspects of that pharmacy. I took the test on the same day you did (Wednesday June 18th) and after I saw the post I went to check it online as well and found that I passed too! I was really nervous because I didn't really study that much for the test (a couple of weeks), this was my first time taking it so I didn't really know what to expect, and it was mostly self study. Luckily I have a little bit of experience in the pharmacy as a volunteer so I feel that that helped me as well. I'm not really sure what to do next; I really need a job both for the money and for the experience (right now I'm in college, and I'm applying for pharmacy school for fall 2009) and I honestly have so much fun working in a pharmacy! Have you started the pharmacy application yet? I am doing it right now too. Hopefully that if I pass the test, it will be a plus in my application.
