So, your has improved considerably from heavy metal chelation.

That's very interesting.

Can you tell a bit about how much (and in what ways) your health has improved

using ALA-chelation?

Are you following the Cutler (frequent dose) protocol?

What ALA-dosage are you on, and which dosage did you start out with?

Do you have adrenal-problems, and have they improved from chelation?

THanks,

.

by going out there and working on them with cresent wrenches. Maybe it is just

an indication on how much better I am now that I can work on them all day and

not get sick anymore. I have chelated for years and going on 2 and 1/2 years

now with the ALA method.

I've tried many different things. ALA has done a lot of good. But the first

year or so is absolute hell. It would be hard to do if you are working. You

can do it on the weekends to start out with. Over time I've been able to do it

continuously. I would follow the Cutler protocol. Currently I take 400 mg

every three hours during the day of regular ALA that I get at Walmart. When I

get home I switch to R-ALA which is 200 mg every three hours. The R-ALA is

supposed to be about twice as much as regular ALA since the entire amount is

usuable by the body and regular ALA the body can only use about half of it and

the other half may actually be bad for the mitocondria. But for some reason I

like the ALA during the daytime. I started out using 100 mg and then went to

200 mg. The first year or so I could not do the 400 mg I do now without getting

terrible side effects. There is a lyme group that uses chelation and salt to

kill the lyme disease. Some people don't get better on just anti-biotics and

have to do chelation for metals. It may be that the metals somehow keep the

antibiotics from working. After doing chelation for more than a couple of years

I've started using ozone daily to kill bacteria. It may be that any bacteria or

virus may be harder to get rid of if you have metals. I'm going to do ozone

treatment daily for at least a year and continue doing chelation daily as well.

Thanks for your reply!

If you started up with 100mg of ALA on the Cutler protocol, I can

understand how you describe the first year as hell. However, if

one can tolerate it, and actually get better long term, it would be

worth it. But if you go through hell while chelating,

how do you know that you're getting better....?

Myself I would be afraid of 'never' recovering if I started

with such a high dose ALA.

Interesting what you write about lyme.

What's the name of the group you mention?

Regards,

.

I think I have read a post by Andy Cutler where he points out that it is not

certain that if you take a higher dose of ALA that it will get rid of more heavy

metals than taking a smaller dose like the ones Marc takes. I just know that

when I would take higher doses, in the early parts of the round, my memory and

my brain would function like they did when I was young. The same wasn't true

when I did small rounds. My memory was pretty far gone and even after two and a

half years I'm just now getting my recall abilities back to where they once

were. I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing and hope that eventually my memory

and brain may be better than they ever where. I've always had a bad memory and

I'm hoping for a big improvement if I continue. I may have been mercury

poisoned at a very early age and my brain may not be wired like a lot of folks

and may be similar in some ways to that of an autistic child. It is a spectrum

and I may not have been so bad that I could be called autistic but I was a lot

like an autistic kid when I was very young. Always very quiet and had motor

skill problems and they had to even give me " speical ed " type stuff to get me to

walk straight when I was in kindergarten. When I became mercury poisoned again

in my later thirties I had lots of the same kinds of problems I had when I was

very young. When I first started chelating with ALA I got a lot of sensations

in the back of my neck and head and I saw my balance improving. Next I saw my

long term memory get better. But it was a long time before I saw improvements

in the short term memory and my ability to recall stuff. If you talk to the

people at the frequent dose chelation group I think the ALA is safer than other

things which they say are riskier and might drive the heavy metals deeper into

the brain. I think ALA is pretty safe. The thing that concerns me is that long

term use might have negative effects on the mitochondria and for that reason I

use mostly R-ALA. You would have to do a group search for lyme to find

the name of that group. It's been a long time. You'd probably find it by using

the search word lyme.
