Dear All,

Does anyone have an actual business plan or business plan template for a one

person biofeedback practice that they would be willing to share? I don't know

where to begin and I need to raise some capital.

Also, can anyone recommend any banks, credit unions or other sources of new

business captial, particulary those in the Northeast?

Many thanks!

Nan

Hi Nan, after 8 years doing this work I had to figure out early on how to make

it succeed. I would suggest you contact your local community business

development center, ours is attached to our community college. There is a

volunteer organization called SCORE that is backed by the US Gov (I'm assuming

you are in the US....and not NE Canada) and they are retired business people who

help folks like you get started.

The Small Business Administration also has some great resources for you to study

and download free, from how to write a business plan to how to spend your

advertising dollars. There is a lot of free information out there, just google

for " Starting a Small Business " and go from there. All of these organizations

have free help in how to write a business plan so a bank will look at you, to

how to expand, how to negotiate a lease, what ever it is you'll need. I paid $5

for an excel spread sheet for budgeting on my business many years ago from the

SBA and that has helped keep me on track.

You can literally let your fingers do the walking and you can access all sorts

of free info. I do offer a business building program designed around weight

loss in a holistic practice, but that is geared for someone who is already

established and there is a small fee for that. Sounds like you really want to

start with what you can get at no charge, and that is where I would start. Good

luck! Tyler, Diplomate, CNC

Yes, this is very true.

I did spend 3 months working on my plan and you will keep changing it if you want to work. Even if I send it to you it will not work for you, The idea is to do the research for yourself , your area and specific tasks.

If you want to talk about it you can contact me at katia@...

Smiles,

Kate
