Guest guest
Several years ago, my mother hand a very bad toe nail fungus. Her podiatrist suggested using Vicks Vaporub, putting some on the end of a nail file and poking it under the infected nail. We did this a couple of time a day. It took a few weeks but it cleared up completely. Later I tried wearing artificial fingernails and developed a fungus under my thumb nail. Dr. gave me a Rx but it did not do a thing. Then I remembered the Vicks. It worked like a charm. Have recommended it to several people who have had fungus as a result of wearing artificial nails. All have found it to work. Can't tell you why. Needless to say, I have given up on the artificial nails. Joan
Guest guest
I might add a thought too....I have used some of these oils and they work wonderfully. I added the Oregonal (not just the plant oregeno, but the product OREGONAL then cover the nail am and pm. Two days and I could see the changes happening. Tata Deep Toe Nail Fungal Infection , This may not be the place to mention aromatic essential oils, but I've found great success blending one part each: Cloves, Lemon, Melaluca and Rosewood essential oils and applying one drop to each nail morning and night. Cut the toe nails as short as possible. Rub in the oil so it penetrates the cuticle and gets under the nails. Any itching and discomfort should immediately disappear. The nail should show some signs of improvement within three days. I've also had good results with 1 drop of Lemon oil morning and night and use this approach anytime there's no itching or discomfort. It also works well for " athletes foot. " Namaste, .............................................

Guest guest
What works really well is 3% Diflucan, tea tree oil and DMSO. DMSO will take the Diflucan amd Tea tree oil through the nail plate into to nail bed. It make take 4 to 6 mos. to clear if used twice a day. Soak your feet in the Listerine for 20 - 30 minutes a day for approximately three weeks. Fungus disappears. Anne H. Barker Several years ago, my mother had a very bad toe nail fungus. Guest guest
Hi there, Some other things to consider with a toenail fungal infection is the functionality of the thyroid. The thyroid is known to control the circulation in the body and if the circulation is weak, then the blood will not flow to the feet. Taking liquid or dulse tablets will greatly benefit the thyroid. Also, using one cup of food grade peroxide bath will allow the body to heal from a fungus infection. Guest guest
Hi Maggie, Please don't try it - our skin is after all the third kidney! Our skin absorbs even more than if we ingest something. If you're taht desperte about the toenail fungus try mixing 10 drops each of tea tree and oregano essential oils into 10 ml of DMSO and applying twice a day. The DMSO assists in penetration. Be warned though - you will have to deal with dry skin too - in fact, once you had soaked your feet in hot water (after using the mix for a while) you will have to do some work on your feet/nails - like removing all the dead skin and cutting your nails back - best too for better absorption. Hope this helps. Guest guest
I thought this site was dedicated to the QXCI/SCIO, and for people and practitioners working in a homeopathic/naturopathic way. Bill designed this therapy with this in mind. Instead, we are getting an avalanche of information on how to kill the messenger ie.: allopathic type of treatments. Please try to understand that symptoms will go away when we direct ourselves to clearing and healing the cause of the symptoms - always look for the cause. It is the only way to heal. I know it is easy to fall back on conventional allopathic methods but you will find that this will only take you deeper on to disease - this is not progress. Please be aware of this tendency to revert or take the 'easy way out'. Guest guest
Dear Maggie, One drop of a high-grade essential oil of Lemon on each nail morning and night will clear up almost any toe nail fungal infection quickly. Improvement will be noticeable within a couple of days. It's not only more effective than Listerine, it's non-toxic, feels better and is more economical. Guest guest
Dear , How do you respond to the comments we're treating this " allopathicly " because we're treating the symptom not the cause. I will suggest it to a client who has battled nail fungus because it seems very natural. What would you say to look at to determine the cause. What would weaken the immune system to let a fungus get a strong-hold in nails? Thanks for your input. Guest guest
Can I interject my two cents? Chances are if you have a fungal infection on the surface of the body, you have an internal fungal infection. As above, so below...Chances are the woman with a vaginal yeast infection also has it in her digestive tract. is Rotella, M.Ac, CNC > > > Dear , How do you respond to the comments we're treating this > " allopathicly " because we're treating the symptom not the cause. O'Lone > , areas like in the skin, under nails etc, has no immune response. That is, these locations rely more on mechanical safeties due to the lack of circulation; the immune response has to have circulation. If the fungus escapes the skin or nail and gets into the lymph or blood near these locations, indeed you find the immune system is working. By the way, DMSO and colloidal silver in about a 30:70 ratio is what I use. Trim dead skin and nail well back and apply once or twice daily. As the nail grows out there will be no infection.
