Q amp; A gt;Date: Wed, 22 Sep 2004 06:58:39 +0100 gt; gt;This is many questions

that are most effectively answered by talking to a gt;broker/ distributer.

gt;Some answers will be on www.qxcisynergy.co.uk gt; gt; Kelsey PhD gt;

gt; QXCI and SCIO Q amp; A gt; gt; gt;Hi, gt;

gt;I am new to the group. I recently had a session with a QXCI gt;therapist, and

really liked what I saw and felt. gt; gt;I had a number of questions and looked

to theqxci.com website gt;for answers. Many of the pages werent functioning. So

here gt;goes. gt; gt;When was the debut of the first QXCI? The SCIO? In each

case gt;how many models and or upgrades have there been? On gt;average how often

is the software upgraded? What are the costs gt;for upgrades for a new/used

machine? gt; gt;Is using the Q or SCIO for the AIM/EMC2

gt;program. Does he do sonbsp;nbsp;all on one instrument, or multiple? gt;Does

he use his own program? gt; gt;Can one design their own ideas into the programs?

How flexible gt;are the programs in this regard? gt;If one has useful ideas that

could be incorporated into the gt;program, is the person with the idea(s)

compensated for their gt;contribution(s)? gt; gt;Is there a prayer program that

can run constantly and treat gt;multiple patients? If so, is this available for

both devices? gt; gt;What are the differences betweem the Q and SCIO? What are

gt;the Advantages of one over the other? gt; gt;What is the average time spent

per patient visit? What do most gt;people charge per visit? How many patient

visits are needed to gt;break even before turning a profit? What type of loans

and or gt;leasing programs are available? gt; gt;After receipt of payment, what

is the average delivery time to the gt;west coast for the devices? gt; gt;What

breaks down on the devices? What is the average cost for gt;repair? Where are

the units repaired? How long is the down time gt;on average? Lender units

available? gt; gt;Which laptops are considered to be workhorses - very reliable?

gt;Can a second screen for the patient to view be easily gt;connected? Is this

recommended, or a hinderance to the gt;relaxation of the patient? gt; gt;In my

experience many people these days are racked with gt;anxiety. If they see all of

the things that are imbalanced on gt;screen, will they then fixate on this info?

gt; gt;Can a Mac running a PC emulater program run the Q or SCION? gt; gt;Do

practitioners commonly become placed upon a quackwatch gt;list?

Hownbsp;nbsp;does one not get placed on a quacklist and still gt;operate

profitablly and above ground? Sorry for asking this one, gt;but I feel it to be

very important question. How many people have gt;had their instruments

confiscated or have ended up with legal gt;problems? Does one need legal

protections in order to practice? gt; gt;What insurance is available for

practitioners. Does one need to gt;incorporate or need other such structure for

asset protection? gt;What do most practitioners do? gt; gt;What are other

devices out on the market one should consider gt;that compete directly with the

Q and SCIO? gt; gt;In order to have adequate information for questions to such

as gt;the above, is this information available freely, or does one have gt;to

pay for the answers through seminars, videos or other gt;materals? If so, why?

gt; gt;How many Q's and SCIO devices have been sold? How many gt;practitioners

are actually using the devices? gt; gt;How many competing dealers are selling

the devices? Is there a gt;showroom for the devices? In the Los Angeles area, is

there a gt;showroom nearby. How much time is one given to try the device gt;in a

sales situation? Can the device be rented before buying? gt; gt;If a patient

wants to get their own device, what possibilities are gt;available for the

practitioner to act as go-between to a dealer, gt;and what bonuses would be

possible? Can one be a rep in gt;some instance? What are other such

possibilities? gt; gt;What are the advantages and disadvantages to used over new

gt;instruments? gt; gt;I think you can see the practicality of my questions. In

fact, a faq gt;page on this group list would be really great as I am sure that

gt;many people must be wanting to know about answers to these gt;and other

questions. gt; gt;Thank you very much for your attention. gt; gt;Respectfully,

gt; gt;Nick gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt; gt;

Ha! I am sorry to hear your trouble w/ the lap top --

I too, ordered a new DELL - went over ALL the computer

necessities from my QXCI dealer - however, they failed

to tell me that all lap tops( didn't know?) are being

sent out w/ USB ports instead of the parallell port (

needed for QXCI) - DELL told me to get an adaptor -

well, to make a long story short - I was advised by

QXCI to send the computer back ( you can w/in 30 days)

and get a laptop w/ parallell port - this whole

affair took over 6 weeks while I sat w/ my QXCI not

able to use.

I was quite 'put-out' - I think that the QXCI dealers

shOULD be more explicit w/ people who order,

cautioning them TO BE SURE TO GET A PARALLEL PORT!!!!

I told the people in CALIF to get a memo out to their

dealers to be more vocal about this when orders are

taken!! Apparently it is still happening - I would

certainly E mail CALILF again and admonish them to get

this straight w/ their dealers!!! I am still annoyed

by what I went thru - all because my dealer didn't

know what they were advising.

Hi Nicki,

The only way I could get the QXCI hooked up to my Dell Inspiron laptop was to purchase the Dell Advanced Port Replicator. The laptop hooks into the Port Replicator and then the connecting lead from the white box will plug into the back of the Port Replicator. Works perfectly.
