Guest guest
Yes, I sent it to CFSfmexperimental. I might not be active for couple of months as I will be leaving the city. Will be back. I wish you the best. Nil Re: off topic new group/electrosensitivity > There is a new group at which I find very informative on > Electro sensitivity problems. > It is `esens` at groups. Presumably that message was sent somewhere else other than here? :-) But yes, that's a good idea -- if anyone here is a member of a mailing list where you think there are several people who are electrically sensitive, you might want to post a short message informing them that " " exists. Originally I posted messages on emfacts , EMR-EMF , metals@..., and also sent emails to the www.feb.se and Roy Beaver's of the EMF-L list. But there are probably other places I didn't think of. Guest guest
Marc I think it might be worth considering periodically re-posting advertisements in all those locations, along with any others suggested by group members, since new people periodically join these lists. Guest guest
Hello Drasko, my estimation is also round the 10 % of the people. The problem is, that many do not realise, that they have ES. Guest guest
Marc, regarding advertising, I can only think of Lucinda Grant. I don't know much about her, I had just exchanged several letters years ago, but enthusiasm and dedication is something that always turns me on. At least, she has been in a correspondence with numerous people... If we had more critically thinking and dedicated enthusiastic people here (like we already are :-)), we could have made important practical conclusions and even theoretical hypothesis regarding the ES phenomenon! We already concluded that any weakness is a strong predisposition for ES. Might be too early to generalize, but under weakness we could think of undernourishment, poisoning, etc. Also, I am myself reddish a bit, and I know that pale people are more inclined to ES, the same way they are sensitive to Sun! Dr. Klitzing who was by that time ridiculed by scientific community has first shown that EEG (brain wave) patterns change in presence of a mobile phone, but his experiments had more success when he used sick people from the clinic! Also, I am sometimes insecure whether my CFS symptoms came from ES, or that weakness caused by CFS lead to ES... One question bothers me: how many ES people are there in general population? Sometimes I estimate the number of about 10%, due to the fact that about 10% of mobile phone heavy users, I know personally, report obvious significant problems during mobile phone usage. All them should have been ES to some extent, I guess. But let it be just 1% of ES people in general, and say just 1% of them who are aware of their sensitivity (unfortunately many people are hopelessly worsening their health by medication not knowing what really happens to them), and 1% of that literate and curious enough to try to find answers, that's still 1 ppm = thousands and thousands!!! *Where are they!?* I hope some of them would join us one sooner or later... Drasko PS I even gave adds some time ago in local newspapers, trying to find other ES people, withouth any success! So I am very happy I have this esens company! Guest guest
Also, I am myself reddish a bit, and I know that pale people are more inclined to ES, the same way they are sensitive to Sun! I have pale skin as well, which was subjected to a lot of sun damage when I was younger. I also experience reddening of the skin as a result of my sensitivity, and this is the first thing I noticed some years ago. I am very interested to know how many people with ES, who are reading this, either have darker skin or know ES sufferers with darker skin. In fact, I wish we all had the time to collectively develop a questionnaire using this list and the folders, which could then be progressively distributed to all ES people to contribute to a database and research on electrical sensitivity - as funding and time allowed. Analysis of responses to questions relating to demographic characteristics, what evokes reactions in people, physiology, mercury poisoning etc. would probably yield a lot of interesting answers that could be published in the form of a paper and peer reviewed, contributing to recognition of this condition. It might even show that there are several different forms of ES that have not been identified due to lack of research - this is my suspicion. As it is, we all only see a snapshot of each others conditions and as such, could potentially be making wrong conclusions since we don't see the full picture. Any volunteers?
