50th birthday party help

I will start this off by saying that I know this topic isnt specifically

dwarfism related but since I'm a dwarf and it sorta pertains to me, then I'm

excusable in posting this

My mom is having a hysterectomy on July 23 because of fibroids and the dr told

her she cant drive or do anything strenuious afterwards for up to 4-6 weeks.

Well, her 50th birthday is Aug 12, during her recovery period. I figured by then

she'd be full of cabin fever and would like to see faces other than those of my

dad, my dogs and I. So I decided to throw her a small surprise party since it IS

her 50th, inviting about 10 of her closest friends (I'm hoping her best friend

from TN can make it). A couple of her friends and my dad are helping me out

getting decorations and picking things up, one of them is allowing me to hold it

at her house so it'll be an actual surprise. Soooooo I was wondering, do any of

ya'll know any cute " oh no you're 50!! " gags or whatever I can do? For future

reference: remember she IS in recovery so no " pee in your pants laughing " ,

heart-stopping, or pin-the-tail on the donkey stuff I thought about looking

up her birthdate online and seeing " what happened " that day and year, and making

it on a posterboard to put up so her and the guests can see what significant

things and people happened then. Otherwise, I'm kinda stummped....so any

suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
