hi all,

i'm sure i've read somewhere that hayfever can be healed with coconut oil.

i've read so much over the past month on coconut oil i've lost track where i

read what...

my question is, has anyone on here experienced this? the first time i had

hayfever was when i was about 6 or 7. at the time and for years later i was

stuffed with antihistamine tablets. i stopped taking anything for it once i

left home. during my first pregnancy the symptoms disappeared, then came

back a couple years later, but nowhere near as strong. then second pregnancy

happened, and symptoms disappeared completely. in the meantime we moved to

the US (from england), first to california bay area, no symptoms there. then

to the arizona desert, no symptoms there either. returned to england 2 1/2

years ago, and a year ago i experienced the worst symptoms again, runny nose

24/7, 80+ sneezes a day. a homeopathic remedy (apis c30) kept it in check,

and i was able to breathe without too many sneezes etc, but it evidently

didn't get rid of it, since i came down with the symptoms today, the first

warm-ish day this year, dunno about pollen count, but i sneezed loads and my

nose hasn't stopped running. for the past 2 1/2 weeks i've been taking 3-4

tablespoons of coconut oil, in cooking and/or smoothies (banana, pineapple,

coconut milk and a spoonful of coconut oil). how much coconut oil do it need

to take in order to get rid of the hayfever, or at least to make it better,

does anyone know, have any idea?

grateful for any suggestions aside allopathic!

I spray my nose with seawater when i experience runny nose from allergens. I

also drink water with a pinch of seasalt. Both remedies stop my allergy

immediately.

,

Your hayfever appears to me to be a possible low metabolism. That

you lived in a warmer climates (southern California and Arizona)

without symptoms and then moved to a temperate one--cold/dark/wet

(England) AND experienced no symptoms when pregnant. Your body was

possibly using your baby's thyroid and/or your body's progesterone

levels were at their highest...and progesterone can make up for low

thyroid sometimes.

Read Dr. Peat's work at efn.org/~raypeat/ and Dr. Broda O.

' book Hypothyroidism: The Unsuspected Illness.

Have you heard of 's Thyroid Syndrome? A person's body is

putting out adequate thyroid (per lab tests) but the body can't use

it/metabolise it correctly. Here is his book online to read free as

given to www.flylady.net members several months ago to share

http://www.wilsonssyndrome.com/Products/WTSeBookForFlyLady.htm

Coconut oil stills holds a high place in my diet for thyroid support.

hi melly,

i've been taking 'sole' (himalayan crystal saline solution) for nearly two

years now. although it's helped a great deal with all kinds of problems,

i've not managed to get rid of the hayfever. the seawater here is just way

too polluted to use on and inside the body...
