Guest guest
Joan, The quote Sharon shared dealing with " breathing " oil refers to " fire " breathing and fire eating as done in the circus. To breath the oil really means to " exhale " . Oil is put in the mouth and exhaled or spit out in front of a flame to cause a blowtorch-like effect. Oil is not actually inhaled into the lungs. One expels a flammable liquid from one's mouth onto a flame so it looks as though one is exhaling flames. But I never heard of using cooking oils. From my understanding, one must use a solvent with a very low burning temperature so if the flames touch one's mouth one is not injured. Alcohol and specialty solvents with very low flash points are what I thought the fire breathers used. Alobar
