Guest guest
Hi, I fried a batch of french fries in coconut oil & duck fat a few days ago. I don't want to just throw it out, and I do not want to use the leftover oil for food, but I wonder if there is another use for it? I searched the web and found fuel for lamps, soap-making, and a few other things, but I wonder if there is some use for it that requires no additional processing? Like, perhaps, as a wood preservative? If I pour it on landscape timbers, will it just attract ants? Your ideas and suggestions would be appreciated! -Blair

Guest guest
My husband filled a thick glass jar with salt, and at the center of it put a wick, then poured used vcno and it worked as a lamp. I just don't know if your used oil would work since it is mixed with duck fat. non-food uses of coconut oil? Hi, I fried a batch of french fries in coconut oil & duck fat a few days ago.
