Guest guest
Sharon Yes, i did have shingles. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics for shingles and they were so horribly expensive. So, i rubbed virgin coconut oil and the " ironing of the skin -- burning pain went away. When my younger sister complained that she had similar pains, i told her to rub it with coconut oil, and indeed it also went away. She used to laugh everytime i mentioned " coconut oil " to her, now she ain't laughing anymore as she has benefitted from it. There now you can tell the grand lady she could use it on her shingles. By the way, another older lady here uses the coconut oil for the brownish spots on the skin and scalp...it helps too.... herpes zoster; shingles Hi folks, a friend of mine, a German woman in her 90's, has suffered from herpes zoster; (shingles). Sharon Hi Sharon, Viruses must be lipid-coated in order for coconut oil to work on them by disrupting this layer. I'd recommend ozonated olive oil for this task.
