Yes, i did have shingles. The doctor prescribed me antibiotics for shingles and

they were so horribly expensive. So, i rubbed virgin coconut oil and the

" ironing of the skin -- burning pain went away. When my younger sister

complained that she had similar pains, i told her to rub it with coconut oil,

and indeed it also went away. She used to laugh everytime i mentioned " coconut

oil " to her, now she ain't laughing anymore as she has benefitted from it.

There now you can tell the grand lady she could use it on her shingles. By the

way, another older lady here uses the coconut oil for the brownish spots on the

skin and scalp...it helps too....

herpes zoster; shingles

Hi folks,

a friend of mine, a German woman in her 90's, has suffered from herpes

zoster; (shingles). I just did a search on the internet to find out what it is

(I didn't even know te name, as I only knew the german word for it and I found

it it is a virus! As such. coconut oil shgouldbe able to help. Does anyone know

anything about it? I wil recommend that she use it internally as well as

externally, but does any of you have any experience with it?

That just because a tyrant has the might

By force of arms to murder men downright

And burn down house and home and leave all flat

They call the man a captain, just for that.

But since an outlaw with his little band

Cannot bring half such mischief on the land

Or be the cause of so much harm and grief,

He only earns the title of a thief. "

Hi Sharon,

Viruses must be lipid-coated in order for coconut oil to work on them

by disrupting this layer.

I'd recommend ozonated olive oil for this task.
