Guest guest
I have been using coconut oil for a couple of months and recently, last two weeks or so increased the amount. I feel great but for the last couple of days my skin has started to feel 'waxy.' The only change was the increase in the oil, to between a quarter cup and half cup a day and the use of olive oil and coconut oil mayonnaise. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Is this a sign of using too much oil or is there another explanation? I'm going to cut back anyway to see if I notice a change. Thanks, in advance. rich
Guest guest
Rich, I personally think you take too much coconut oil let alone ingesting olive oil too. Do the different acid contents of coconut and olive oils not bother you? Waxy skin I have been using coconut oil for a couple of months and recently, last two weeks or so increased the amount. Guest guest
I don't know what the signs of the different acids bothering me would be. I am cutting down on both oils to see what happens. rich Waxy skin > > > I have been using coconut oil for a couple of months and recently, last two > weeks or so increased the amount. Guest guest
Rich I just came out of a vcno symposium and was informed that now the standard intake is 5 TBSPs a day preferably spread out through the day but bear in mind not to take it 5 hours before bedtime. It could keep you awake due to increased metabolism. Waxy skin > > > I have been using coconut oil for a couple of months and recently, last two > weeks or so increased the amount.
