I drive a Dodge Grand Caravan, and drives a Chevy Blazer. Both of us

use pedal extensions and some cushions. ne (14) just wants to drive

something, mostly me crazy!

I drive a Pontiac Sunbird that's aging even faster than I am - but what a

dependable car it's been for me! As I'm tall for a LP and slightly

long-limb disproportionate, I only need a back cushion and run the seat all

the way forward.As I grow older, though, more and more I appreciate an

automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes. And I really like

the handling I get from front-wheel-drive.

Hi Frogboy,

I drive a Citron, Saxo. It's a french car, but we live in England. I'm from

Indaina, USA and I brought my pedal extentions with me so I use those. I'm

only 3' 7 " tall, but Ive driven all kinds of cars with them and I think they

are great! They are removable, but I leave them on all the time. I have a

cousin who is 6' 6 " tall and he has drive my cars with them on.

I drive a 1995 Mitsubishi Mirage with hand controls and a pile of cushions.

Very unexciting car, but so far it's served me well.

BTW, I'm not an achon, I'm a SMD, which is sorta like SED but more

unheard-of. <g> I wonder if hand controls are easier to manage with longer

limbs?

I share a Dodge Neon w/ my father.. I use pedal extensions, and I sit

on a square pillow I made back in Junior High , so I won't sink in.

My dad is capable of driving w/ both pedals on, yet my mother is not.

I drive a bright yellow Geo Tracker....now made by Chevrolet. It has pedal

extensions and a back cushion.

Hi: I'm 3 ft, 6 in. TALL and am a Dyastrophic female. I presently

drive a Cadillac Sedan Deville (full size) with extentions. Have driven

just about all the major brands including full size Caddy Coupe Deville

(( door = about 5 ft long each). full size Ford super cab pickup truck

and a full size GMC conversion van./. All had various extensions except

the van, it had extensions and hand controls.

The size of the vehicle isn't as important to me as ATTITUDE!

P.S.: I also can and do sometimes drive small cars too,

just prefer the comfort and/or virtues of the other vehicles.

I drive a Subaru with pedal extensions. In the past I have driven a Ford and

a Plymouth. I love my Subaru out of the other two.

True, its not the size of the car that matters or even the size of the person

that matters, but how professional of a driver they are behind the wheel that

counts.

With that it makes me think of the " Don't let my size fool you " license

plates which I got years ago at an LPA regional. I thought they were pretty

kewl and to the point.
