I just could not resist posting my thoughts after watching this

interview Matt Lauer had with Debra LeFave the high school treacher

that had sex with 14yr old student. I am posting a link so that

To make a long story as short as possible one of the things I

immediately noticed was this girls lack of facial expression and

emotion. As I contnued to watch this interview it became apparent

that her defense team claimed mental illness caused her to do this.

This is where it really gets interesting. Family members noticed

changes in her behavior, dressing provocatively, etc.etc. Towards the

end of the interview they had her attorney, and of course a so called

expert psychiatrist claim that she was really bi-polar and was given

the wrong med (Zoloft) which is know to cause mania in bi-polars.

This blew my mind. It is apparent to me that it was not her so called

bi-polar mental illness that caused the mania, sexual agression, lack

of conscience that pushed her to this act, it was the God Dam drug

Zoloft. This was very personal to me because this is exactly what

happened to my boyfriend on this shit. Only difference is it was not

an minor he fantasized over and had an affair with, Thank God cause

it probably could have been. Here again the drug is let of the hook

by claiming the drug only caused this mania because of the underlying

bi-polar disorder. Here is the best part. As part of her probation

she must continue to take the very toxic drugs that led her to this

I agree with you completely on all accounts. I

know antidepressants can cause inhibitions to

fly out the window and that SSRI side effects

are labeled bi-polar all the time.

by claiming the drug only caused this mania because of the underlying

bi-polar disorder. Here is the best part. As part of her probation

she must continue to take the very toxic drugs that led her to this

insane behavior, and even worse she believes it. We know these drugs

cause full blown maina in a small % of people who take them, I for

one believe they cause hypo mania in a large % of people who take

them. I truly believe Debra LeFave IS ANOTHER VICTIM of SSRI's. I'm

sorry I didn't mention the 14 year old boy as a victim, I personally

feel he had a great time for himself minor, or no minor. I would be

interested in hearing anyones thoughts who watch or read this

interview. I would suggest you watch it because you will see what I

mean about her lack of emotion and expression.
