Guest guest
This is the comment I sent in on the article in the Omaha newspaper today. Dr. ________________________ Drugged into insanity! That is what happened in each of these cases. As an expert witness in these types of cases for the past 10 years (including the murder/suicide of comedian Phil Hartman and his wife), I have consulted in both Yate's case and Duncan's case. Both were so medicated they could not have had a clue what they were doing. And according to this article the same holds true for Marty Nuzum as his " medication " was tripled just before the killing of his girlfriend. Aggressive mental health treatment in the form of drugs, drugs and more drugs is what killed the 5 Yates children, the 3 Duncan children and Jodi Rowe! Yates was on one and a half times the MAXIMUM dose of one of the two antidepressants she was on. (And, by the way, you should not be on two antidepressants at a time although it is a common practice.) Duncan was given one drug on top of another with no breaks in between for several weeks in a row before she drove her children into the Missouri River. Marty Nuzum had his drug dose tripled just before the killing of his girlfriend. How many must die before we get a clue here?!! Show me the LACK of treatment that is being blamed for these tragedies. Carol Boye claims that " it is the people who are not in treatment who have a prevalence of violence. " I say SHOW ME the evidence!!! Give me cases! In all three of these cases the patient was drugged out of their minds. I have followed and worked on many, many, many cases of mothers killing their children - from on - and found that at least 90% of them were on these new serotonergic antidepressants when they killed their children. It is so rare to find no drugs in a case that I am shocked when it happens. No one would be shocked if they knew just how similar these drugs are in action to LSD or PCP or Ecstasy. These drugs also produce their effects by increasing serotonin levels. Many medical studies demonstrate this connection. If you are on the drugs though, you should know that the most dangerous thing you can do is stop too quickly. Abrupt withdrawal can produce these same psychotic breaks. Withdrawal must be VERY, VERY slow and gradual lasting months and sometimes years. Please educate yourselves and stop this madness!! At this point I cannot keep up with the deaths! Guest guest
wow, Sandi, those are powerful words of Dr. 's. I'm no media or english authority but for me, that was a good blend of fact and emotion. So do you think they will have the nerve to print your comment? or did I not read it right - is it already in there today?) I haven't followed the Yates case closely. Have they mentioned at all the possibility that her medications could have caused her behaviour? From what I can tell, this fact never comes up in these cases but, like I said, I am not following closely either. Hey, I got the cool bumper sticker. Thanks Sandi! I thought the people on the heart would come out clearer that size though, didn't you? xo, > > > > This is the comment I sent in on the article in the Omaha newspaper today. > Dr. > ________________________ > > Drugged into insanity!
