Did he REALLY say THAT??? No legal liability? Is this bugger out of his

freaking mind? Paxil was originally registered as a hypnotic by Boehringer

Ingelheim in 1980 -- so how the hell did it go from being a hypnotic to being an

anti-depressant? And it's derived from phenylpiperidine, which in itself is

suspect, given that the only other drugs that are derived from or contain this

substance are narcotics. GSK clearly LIED and defrauded the public, they

knowingly tricked ALL OF US into taking this god-awful rat poison and now some

shyster lawyer doesn't think they should admit liability? Seeeeeeee, what did I

tell you? It's all one great big nest of snakes, and the only people who will

come out on top are the lawyers, as usual. GSK's lawyers get paid whether they

win or lose. And who knows how many brown bags full of cash are going to be

dropped on doorsteps in the middle of the night to get the mad-as-hell

plaintiffs to take itty bitty settlements for their trouble? YUK! I think I'm

going

to be sick. Mr. Harvey needs to take a double dose of Paxhell and then he'll

be changing his tune.

Blind Reason

a novel of espionage and pharmaceutical intrigue

Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again.
