After a week the tribunal threw out this attempt and Cosgrove now faces a new hearing to remove his licence to practice. When the tribunal ruled against him he turned his back on them in contempt and then without leave stormed out of the hearing leave demonstrating contempt and further professional misconduct. The tribunal officially pronounced that CCHR's involvement in supporting those injured by maverick psyciatrists to be entirly proper and stated that the organistations links with Scientology were not relevant to the charges brought.
