Guest guest
Thanks, Jim. Jim- Norman <mofunnow@...> wrote:, Do not worry about these people freaking out about your religion or ideas. Please do not be upset with them and understand that if you discuss religion or politics people are just a little crazy on those subjects. It has to do with what people accept as right. By asserting your rightness you can make them wrong. I know that's not what is intended but that's the way it will be perceived. People hate to be wrong. So keep up the good work and do not be discouraged by these upset people. It is natural for them to become upset so do not be angry with them. They have their own reality and it is their right to have it just as your reality is your right. It just gets ugly when you give them your reality as they cannot or will not be able to have it. Do not take their unacceptance of your beliefs as a lose, it is a natural reaction and you will get it every time you espouse your believes to people that do not share them. That's really what I wanted to say: this reaction to your espousing your beliefs is normal, it will happen every time. It's not your intention but you are " pushing their buttons " talking about those things. Will let you know when it is published. 349 Words Dear Editor: Every human, a child of God and child of man, a spiritual being with a physical body, is born into his physical nature with the potential to transcend into his spiritual nature, choosing to love and serve. Every human is born dependent on others to fulfill their needs. Some unnurtured people become severely mentally ill co-dependents An unnurtured innate pacifist, I believed I was bad and not worth loving. Overwhelming fear triggered the survival mechanism of flight, internalizing fear and dependency. The flight-denial defensive, syndrome confers the passive role of the inferior dependent, the victim. The flight-denial defense is unsustainable and in a few years breaks down. Blaming and injuring myself for not being good enough; valuing myself as treated by others, I waited for someone to take care of me and treat me nice to make me worth something. Collapsing from not finding help, with gut rendering vulnerability, I became one of psychiatry¹s labeled mentally ill. The defensive, fight denial syndrome confers the proactive role of the superior dependent, the controller, on innate aggressors. Blaming and injuring others for not being good enough, valuing themselves by grandiosity titillation and exultation of power over others, they seek out positions of authority over others. Often called psychiatrist. The thing one does before hurting others is label them non-human. Psychiatry labeled me ³schizophrenic.² They dysfunctioned my brain with electricity and forced stupefied drug dependency, rendering me fully dependent on psychiatry. Locked into co-dependency, they and I recognized they as gods and I as worthless. Trapped in the agonized hopelessness of psychiatry, I lashed back in suicidal and homicidal terror and drug rages. My label changed to ³paranoid schizophrenic.² After 31 years of psychiatry, incredibly not having injured another, incredibly still alive, I found people to treat me nice. I found A.A. people of love and wisdom who know I was a person worth loving. They taught me the self-help mental tools of how to overcome terror and dependency and gave me the gift of myself, an equally worthy child of God free to choose to love and serve God, myself and others. People who stay on topic and provide useful information about the facts regarding SSRI's will be doing a public service, and that is appreciated. Those of us who want salvation know where to find it in our lives, and those of us who respect the Constitution will permit freedom of belief. A moment of silence please.... Thank you.
