Like I said in a previous email, they gut un-listed at Etsy for some reason,

so I need to re-list them. Then I can provide a link. I'm not really sure

what happened: I'm guessing they have some sort of automatic " timeout " for

items that are listed. Sorry for the confusion! It's not a business for me

and I DO have a full-time business that is really busy right now, so it sort

of fell through the cracks.

The reason I have them listed at Etsy is because it makes it easy to make

sure that I don't get more orders than I have Dunkers, and also because I

can show pictures. There are several different styles and types. But Etsy

has it's own challenges.

Well, thanks for the offer. That's very kind of you! I just would rather buy

some than borrow some. I'm kind of weird that way.

I am going to wait a while before doing another thing of sauerkraut. But I have

heard about similar things in a few places on the net without being able to buy

them. I think I might like the ceramic things better than what came with my

set-up.

Hi June

I was 39 when I had my only Cholesteatoma (to date!) removed by radical modified mastoidectomy. I also had a tympanoplasty and ossiculoplasty at the same time – the complete repair job.

Since then, I’ve had no recurrence of Cholesteatoma diagnosed, but have had almost 10 years of problems – wet ear, infections, discharge, pain and deafness. I have regular microsuction carried out in the surgeon’s office in order to remove debris from perforations and any new growth. I am a BAHA user as I can’t wear my normal air-conducting aids as they encourage (if they don’t cause) more infection.

I'm curious: what came with your setup? It would be nice to put together a

web page with the available options. I do know condiment cups work pretty

well but I don't have an easy source to point people to. Actually making

high-fire stoneware is an expensive thing -- most of it is made in China

now, where it can be made cheaper and in big quantities. But it would be

nice if there was something common and easy to get that people could use.

Hi June

BAHA used to stand for Bone Anchored Hearing

Aid – now it’s just known as a Baha (I forget to lose the capitals,

though).  I believe the name change came about because of the American

insurance system’s failure to acknowledge that it is not actually a hearing

aid; it’s a sound processing system, part of which is implanted into your

skull, with the sound processor plugged in and out as required.  It’s great for

those who can’t wear ‘normal’ (as in air-conducting) hearing aids in the ears,

as they block the ear canal, causing wetness which can lead to infection and

further problems.  With the name change, hopefully our friends across the pond

will have fewer problems in getting their insurance companies to accept it for

what it is.

Cochlear make the ‘original’ Baha – they bought out Entific, the

Swedish company that made the very first type, and who gave it the name Baha.

However, Oticon Medical now make their version of this wonderful piece of

technology, giving Cochlear the competition that we – the end users – need, so

that we get to hear with the best possible technology out there.

If you find that, after even after removal of the Cholesteatoma,

your ear is still giving you problems with wetness and infection (for

instance), and you need a hearing aid, it’s definitely worth looking into having

a Baha.  You can have non-invasive testing done to see if you would benefit

from a Baha; if you hear well with the test-Baha, then you will likely hear so

much better once it’s implanted.

For me, it’s brilliant – a fantastic piece of kit.

There are two web-based resources I can recommend for discussing

all Baha-related matters with other Baha users, their friends or families: the

first is the group BAHA_PPL (BAHA_PPL/).

The second is the site of the UK-based former charity BUSK: http://www.baha-users-support.com,

which is a website for and by Baha users.  You can also find out more about the

Baha system and the currently available devices by looking at http://products.cochlearamericas.com/baha.

Hope this helps.

I would keep reapplying. She will not get SSDI unless she has worked and has

enough credits. My son is on SSI but it took us 10 years to get it for him.

There is an organization that works with IDF that can help you as well to get

her on. They have attorneys that will take the case. I am not looking forward to

trying to get him on as an adult. He is 14 now.

Thank you for the suggestions.

My husband is a social worker for a hospice corporation and he says for Medi-Cal

you have to be a minor, on SSI or a senior. We tried for SSDI but they turned

us down and we appealed but it has been a year and her case has not come up

yet...we spoke to an attorney who seemed to feel if she was taking classes at

the college even she would not qualify.

I will definitely look into the CCS tomorrow - I had not heard of that and if it

is something that could get us through until she can get on her Dad's insurance

in November, that would be terrific.

Thank you again.

I like the financial advisors disclaimer that mentions...past performance

does not predict future behavior!  And that each attempt you make at weight

loss is getting you closer to actually loosing the weight for good....because

you learn what worked and what didn't.

You can do it !  It is a journey.

The only time I've had a brew take a month was the last batch of Nettle KT. I

couldn't bring myself to toss it, so left it to go " vinegary " and to use it for

hair and facial applications. The other day I looked, and it had bubbles in it,

which totally surprised me. Tasted it, and it no longer had the sweetness it

had had, but it also was not vinegary. So I flavoured it up and let it sit for

the 2nd ferment. Haven't tasted it yet.

Have you read through the " Kombucha Balance " page that is in the group links?

Was there any insight there?

For me, I never post from the group. I always post by email. I just send an

effortlessly.

I hope you find your answers!

Hi all somebody mentioned at some point about the disappearing subject

line. It has happened to me now for a second time. What is up with that?!

I really wanted to address this question/dilemma to the more experienced

brewers. Like hopefully Margret.

What could possibly be wrong with my brewing method?

I've posted similar situation here before, but still nothing adds up.

The problem is that my brew takes like over a month+ to be where I like the

taste, not sweet. I have been on the web site for Len Porzio?

And my situation never fits into his categories. I have been brewing one year in

July and maybe once, I got the brew almost perfect.

But by that time most all the KT was gone, none to harvest.

I have a really good setup with vessels for the KT. But what good does it do me

if I am starving/thirsty terribly for a nice tall glass of KT

and can't get at it.

Please help! I cannot give up, not until I have depleted all resources.

Thank you,

Hi I am going to have my implants removed July 6. I have alot of symptoms but one that bothers me the most mentally is my hair falling out from all over. I have new growth so I don't have any bald spots yet. I was wondering if any of you had this? If so did it get better once you were explanted? Did it take very long to get better? Or did yours continue to fall out? Thankyou for everything.

first thing I noticed was I could breathe better. dont know if that was because of the weight of the implants or what, But that was first. Also I have MAJOR GERD and kept heartburn 24/7. ive only had heartburn ONCE since the surgery!! And for months Ive had it everyday all day no matter what meds I was taking!! That has been a major relief. Also the rash on my breast is gone and hasnt reappeared. Alot of the constant nausea is gone. Ive been nauseated only twice since my explant. before I was dealing with nausea

Congrats on the 48lb weightloss! You have made big steps in accomplishing your

goal. I too have started since January(end of) to lose all the weight I can for

2010. I so far have lost 25lbs. I feel like this is a meager slow pace. I again

have not really dieted or really counted calories at all. I have made some

lifestyle changes like working out 3-4 days a week and incorporating whole

grains and more veggies and fruits into my diet. I am staying away from as much

processed food as I can. I have other medical issues that make weightloss

difficult: Insulin Resistance and hypoactive thyroid. I try and understand that

I have these conditions and try and speak kindly to myself. I am frustrated

that I am not losing weight as quickly as I thought I should be. I really dont

want to diet. I have failed every diet I have ever been on, including Weight

Watchers! I am terrible at counting points and I easily give up because of

this. I want to live and eat like a normal naturally slender person! They dont

count calories nor obsess about losing weight!

I too seem to set goals that restrict. In general I think of foods that need to

be restricted or totally eliminated from my diet. The more I tell myself I cant

have that item the more I want it and have found myself overeating because of

it. I feel like I am in a vicious cycle! I am very proud of all the change I

have accomplished so far, but I think it is time to actually " diet " so I can

lose more weight. I know that one of my limiting beliefs is that If I failed at

it once I will fail at it again. I have to change this defeatest attitude! I

just have to keep repeating the statement that made about failure to

myself. I have to start believing in it! Just feeling discouraged.

Hi Abdo

Gutta percha becomes soft at 65 C and melt at100C.

If you are searching for cow horn forceps -you can find it here

http://www.alibaba.com/product-tp/106245573/Cow_Horn_Extracting_Forceps_Tooth_Extracting.html

Also have a look at attachment for eagle beack forceps-these two types were in exam in April.
