Guest guest
I'm late on this one - and I'm curious - is this a child custody issue where the Father gets to do this? (My biggest fear) Cheryl Without somehow destroying me in the process, how could God reveal himself in a way that would leave no room for doubt? If there was no room for doubt, there would be no room for me - UA (unknown) Can someone please forward an attachment of the inserts showing at what titer levels the children are immune. I am about to propose to the courts that my child is immune and has antibodies but I can not find the inserts anywhere. I know that someone had it on one of these groups in the past. Guest guest
Hi ette – I’m so sorry I haven’t written to you. I still have your original e-mail asking me about Dr. Levine and I kept meaning to write to you, but I have limited time on the computer before I have to lie down. The wireless laptop isn’t too comfortable for me. Anyway, Dr. Levine wrote me an e-mail saying that he stopped by, but being that I was moved from HSS across the street to Columbia Presbyterian they told him I was “discharged.” He apologized for not seeing me. I did write him back an e-mail explaining the difficult post-op I had and that I was not really discharged but transferred to ICU at Columbia Presbyterian. He said he was in NYC mainly during the middle of the week and if I had a follow-up with Boachie on a day when he was in NYC he would be happy to meet. So, maybe I can coordinate that in the future. Lorrie From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of paulettep11 Sent: Thursday, January 05, 2006 12:31 PM Subject: [ ] (unknown) Hi Everyone: I've been trying to keep up with this very busy, productive board. I'm one year & 9 months post op revision surgery (Dr. LaGrone, one day surgery/anterior/posterior--T-9 to sacrum), and am feeling great. I'm going to try to add my thoughts on some recent issues mentioned on this site: (PA), please hang in there. I know the days prior to surgery can feel overwhelming. Try to think of positive things, including visualizing yourself with a positive outcome. Lorrie, Kam, Joyce, I've been thinking of you and sending you healing thoughts. Lorrie, did you ever see Dr. Levein? Eileen (garden girl), I agree with you on the great care I received at BSA, and how totally pleased I am with Dr. LaGrone, Dr. Neilson, etc. I have absolutely no regrets. The central line was a non issue for me. It was put in during surgery while I was out. It really never bothered me. It was removed when I went to rehab floor at BSA...maybe a week post op. I am still amazed that I can stand erect with my knees straight! I've been hiking many times, and I can actually rest standing up with my knees straight, which was unheard of prior to this surgery. Someone asked about standing in lines..........same thing.....I can comfortably stand there. No more bending forward, or having to hang onto carts. I think having a good relationship with my PCP has helped me, as he was the one who prescribed meds, etc. after I came home from surgery. I try to keep up with the posts, but I'm sure I've missed some issues, but if anyone needs to email me directly at paulettep11@..., I'll be happy to answer any questions. Hang in there, and my best wishes are with everyone for a happy, healthy 2006. ette

Guest guest
Deb, Thanks for hte understanding. YES raging hormones. She started about 3 months ago and it definitely multiplied things! She is on Namenda, Adderall XR during the day and regular Adderall " If needed " in the afternoon. I can tell from hearing her answer the phone at home if she has not taken her meds so YES, there is a HUGE difference with meds! She has to do her " homework " at school or it simply does not get done. They have adjusted to that at school and they make sure she does her work in study hall and does not " forget " it. That helps alot. I too have my own issues, I take meds for depression (imagine that!lol), and have ADHD and OCD myself. So some days we just " take a break from the world " together. But we will make it!! I am the only one who will make sure she is treated the way she should be and who will help her take care of herself and I WILL NOT give up on her!! God Bless! Guest guest
I haven't heard of Dr. Vasey or Shanklin, where are they from? I've got an appointment on the 15th with a naturopath, Dr. Leu, recommended by someone on this site. http://www.drleu.com/ I also found another website, which I noticed Dr. Kolb is affiliated with, and there are some MD's who are recommended on that site. If they're associated with Dr. Kolb, I'm wondering if they also recommend the protocol that she advises her patients to use. Check out this website and look for the list of doctors, perhaps there's one in your area. I've never used any of them, just making an assumption that since they're listed on this site, that they've got experience with people who have gotten sick from implants. http://www.freewebs.com/implants/index.htm Sis > >hi- i am new to the group, i appreciate all that i have been able to > >read. 8 months after getting my implants i started experiencing sleep > >disturbances, and pain in my knees, over time the pain went to just > >about every joint and muscle i had. this pain was debilitating. many > >other strange symptoms came about, but pain and fatique were my number > >one complaint. after a long journey of soul searching and research i > >decided to have the implants removed. i sent them to Dr. Blais in > >Canada for testing. he found a defective valve, significant saline > >contamination which was feeding a large hematoma due to poor surgery. > >i am now 5 months post surgery and am still not seeing any change in > >pain level. in fact it has gotten worse around month 5. Guest guest
Dr. Vasey is a Rheumatologist in FL, I went to him in '92, did not help me at all. Of course, I won't put those toxic drugs most doctors prescribe into my body. Dr. Shanklin is on TN, and does research. Guest guest
Dr. Vasey and Dr. Shanklin are both experts on silicone induced illness. Dr. Vasey is a practicing rheumatologist in Florida, but booked very heavily. He knows all the symptoms associated with breast implants, and has written a book about it. Dr. Shanklin is in Memphis, Tennessee, and he also knows all about this illness. I am not certain that he is still practicing or what his specialty is, but he was very instrumental in identifying many of our problems and writing papers about them. I have contact info if anyone is interested. Guest guest
Hi Lynda, I hope at least you got your validation from him! I agree that the toxic drugs aren't going to help us. Vasey IS a rheumatologist using the only arsenals he was taught to use against autoimmune disease (drugs). It's too bad he hasn't gotten on the alternative bandwagon to really be able to help us. At least he knows we are sick from implants. Guest guest
Hi Patty, He told me I was sick from my Mentor implant. And tried to give me the standard drugs, plaquenil, etc., which I refused, of course. Lynda At 11:26 PM 2/8/2006, you wrote: >Hi Lynda, >I hope at least you got your validation from him!
