Hi ,

The person I got my qx through also sold me his Sager and I love it. It's fast, has all the ports you need and is the best I've seen for the QX software. You can call any dealer and have them make sure that the ports you need are on the particular model you want, but the new ones already have them. Visiting www.sager.com will put you in touch with a dealer in your area, or you can order via the web. The 15" laptop has the super clear screen; the 17" doesn't have them yet, but one of the 17" models does have a tv tuner card and better video capabilities for the SCIO body viewer. I actually find the super-clear screen a little high on the glare factor, but they are beautiful.. Also, the Fujitsu 15" super clear screen laptop has received good reports, but it's not as fast as the Sager.

My LFTs are the lowest they've been in years - Alk Phosphatase - 240 (norm 38-126) , ALT - 96 (norm 9-52) AST - 100 (norm 14-36) . My ultrasound was normal and so was the Cat Scan , but now he's talking about sending me to T O or Kitchener to put me on a pre-transplant list. We haven't done the biopsy 'cause we've got to set it up with a surgeon to do it with a laprascope - it can't be done the normal way because of the scarring on my liver right where they try to put the needle in.

Wish me luck , please - I think I'm going to need it.

Personally I think he was pulling everyone's leg. If you noticed the picture he said was of his face from the accident it was of a head but there was no neck..... ---Dear Sir,

I am interested yet perplexed as to how the safety of motor vehicles

relate to the functioning of remote medics? Could be that you were

driving along a 600km pipeline.

Logic suggest that if you are a medic, Which I presume that you

are. Safety would be paramount in your thoughts if not for yourself

but that of your passengers!!!!

If I have missed I a valid point I would appreciate some clarity

Surely if the Remote Medic needs a motor vehicle to do part or all of his

job then it is relelvent to discuss the safety of motor vehicles, also some

remote medics also have a sideline or main line with ambulance services or

responders so why not discuss it?

Hi Sandy

Thanks for the reply yes I am also a member of the PBC'ers

I am stage 4 my blood work was realy going crazy unbelivable high

then the did another biopsi and found the AIH been on Pred and Imuran

for about two or three months I can't seem to keep track of time lately

but my last bood work was much better not normal but better so he cut back on the meds. so we will see. I started to work for home I hope that

I can continue to do this as I am single and have no other income. What stage PBC are you in. I don't take Urso as it did nothing for me. My Hep

said I won't be on the transplant list this year and that I would probably have to be in the hospital befor they do due to a lack of donners. so I wait

as we all do. Well take care and talk to you later

in Montrealsilkybfp <silkybfp@...> wrote:

Hi ,I have both PBC and AIH. I would say that the AIH is the lesser of the two evils. It's not curable, but is usually controllable with Prednisone and/or Imuran. Prednisone did nothing for my AIH, so I only take Imuran. My AIH is considered in "chemical remission" meaning the progress of the disease is in check. If I can remain on Imuran is being questioned right now. My pancreatic enzymes are elevated and they suspect it is the Imuran. They've cut my dose to 50 mg day and will see how my next labs are.Are you on the PBC'ers group also?Take care,Sandy C.

Hi ,

Thought I recognized your name and Montreal!

I am in Stage 2 - increased inflammation with marked fibrosis. Went

untreated for the last year as the first pathologist to read the

biopsy stated I had AIH but not PBC. My hep had another pathologist

read it and they found 5 markers for PBC - seems to me that would be

pretty hard to miss!

I take 1000 mg URSO daily. My alk phosphate has gone from 800

something to 97 thanks to the URSO. Hopefully, the URSO will slow

it down, though I read about a new study yesterday that found URSO

really did not make much difference.

I'm fortunate to have siblings who would be willing to be liver

donors, if it comes to that. My son is heartbroken that he cannot

as we don't have the same blood type.

I try not to think of what may happen...because you just never know.

I truly hope you do not have to wait too long for your new liver.

Take care,

Sandy C.

a,

You are doing great! Your son is lucky to have you.

What is in the precreacarb? BY the name it sounds like the zyme prime will be

the one closest to the formula. It does not sound like there were proteases

in the formula (by the name...check it out.)

My son did lousy on any Kirkman product. The only thing I use from them is

Culturelle and they don't make it, they just distribute it. Of course, though,

many people do well on Kirkman products...watch your child's reaction.

I'm sure you know that the best treatment for low blood sugar is not to eat

processed sugars and other simple carbs. Easier said than done with a child. I

have not given my son chromium--I am thinking of adding that.

I don't know about the domperidone. Is it for constipation? Have you tried

magnesium?

When you say you can't get him off the prevacid, what do you mean?

it has protease, amylase and lipase, i believe.

yeah, we are all about basic foods, nothing processed here.

domperidone is a motility drug and he was first prescribed it for

reflux, but it seems to help him with being so oversensitive to

stooling. i haven't tried magnesium since it really isn't from

constipation, just sensitivity.

> When you say you can't get him off the prevacid, what do you mean?

as soon as i start to drop the dosage, his nights become very

restless and he practically flops around in bed. his signal for

reflux!

thanks again, robin. i can't tell you how much i appreciate it.

a,

The pancreacarb is probably most similar to Zyme Prime in that they are both

general enzyme formulae.

I read 's posts to you and hopefully if you start on the Houston enzymes

you will be able to wean off the prevacid.

Magnesium also improves colonic motility so it may still be something you

want to investigate.

I wish I had answers for you. It sounds like you are really on the right

path, though.

Keep up the good work,

Robin

No, but you get Medicaid with SSI, and some plastic surgeons, including Dr.

continued to have the seizures and was admitted. Once admitted, they

connected her for the EEG which showed a big mess. was able to

tell me everytime she was having a seizure and the neuro confirmed this

fact. They ended up having to give her Ativan to stop the seizures and we

also changed her med from Trileptal to 25mg 2X a day of Zonegran. We

still don't really know what caused this, but I am pretty sure that it

was the Trileptal, which, if any of you recall, I was worried every time

we tried to raise it since she would get more seizures. Yesterday, her

neuro told me that her EEG now showed that she was not having any seizure

activity so we were discharged, thank God! Right now, we're just hoping

and praying that Zonegran will work for her. Please keep us in your

prayers! Thank you very much!

WOMAN'S ASS SIZE STUDY:The results of a recent survey have been

women felt about the size of their ass. The findings of the study are

very

interesting:85% of women think their ass is too big.

10% of women think their ass is too small.

5% of women say that they don't care, they love him, and would have

This week treatments have

been fine, actually went out and did stuff on Sunday (dog training) and rested

on Monday. But I am not as tired as I was and feel basically good.

Main problem is where I

work, she announced today she want us to work on Sundays and Mondays that is 7

days a week. Not

Me.

Less than a half hour later an old friend called and wants to get with me about

opening our own business. Very weird since the last two weeks I have been

preparing my business plans, looking at building, equipment needed. Had

my business card drawn up and now going over them with the printing

company. Gosh who knows maybe I will operating my own place in a few

months and enjoying every day.

Hi Tammy. Don't feel too bad. I guess I probably missed whatever it was you passed on to us, while I was restoring my pc. It's hard to avoid running into nasty stuff on the net. I'm guessing the underlines were links to questionable sites. Accidents happen. -dz-Tammie <beachbrat5@...> wrote:

Hi There,

I'm having problems with my 15 year old teenager, one month it's

depression next month anxiety, where she is running out the door at -20

below in Ontario Winter with no coat on just a teeshirt and jeans

running, screaming and crying down the street. Then when my husband has

collected her in the house she starts hyperventilating. This went on

for about a good two weeks every day. I got to the docs. for Xanax

where i am totally against all the drugs, but couldn't find another way

to stop these anxiety attacks.

Then it got to the point where they would start in the vehicle and she

would panic and say well i'm getting out of here while the vehicle was

moving trying to open the door at the same time, thank god for child

locks on my side. But i do have to pull over and try to console her it

takes about 25 minutes to settle her down.

Anyways, it has now settled but i had only given her 3 of them and they

did work when in her system, calmed her down the next day not the time

it was happening, but i didn't get it into her before the anxiety

attack, so my fault in the treatment of it as the doc. said only use

when necessary. Now she is in a paranoia state with the anxiety but the

anxiety's have subsided from to what they were as above, but i still

think it's there somewhat.
