Guest guest
As far as I know, the Marriott is booked for the first Saturday. All other nights are ok. Right now, if you don't have hotel reservations...you have THREE options: (1) Find a Roommate that has a reservation at the Marriott. (2) Make a REGULAR reservation (The Marriott should have rooms at the regular rate) and hope you get the LPA Rate when you get to SLC...because another LP might have given one of their rooms up prior to conference. If you chose this option, keep calling the Marriott every few days to see if rooms have been freed up. (3) Make a reservation for the Saturday at the overflow hotel. It's actually a rate of $79 all that week. There's no way that hotel is booked. Hope this helps. -david (unknown) hi, I need help finding either a roommate or finding a hotel for the conference, because the marriott is already booket and the best western is almost booket. I would take some ideas from anyone would like to give it to me. Adam

Guest guest
Patty, Hi. has diabetes and so far we have traveled all over with lots of needles, medicine that needs to be kept cool, etc. First of all, get a good sized lunch cooler that can be stored with ice and that will keep the formula cool for the car ride. It's only 4 hours for you, we did it for an 8 hour trip. Second, the Econolodge doesnt have fridges in the rooms, but they let me use their fridge in the lobby for amanda's insulin. There are always ice machines that can help keep things cool and just re- fill your cooler. Even along the road if you need it. In the future when you travel, make sure you request a room with a fridge. one place we went to didnt have them in every room, but put one in for us because we needed it. I have found so many hotels with fridges and when there isnt one, just ask! Hey our biggest problem now is how to keep all those wine coolers we need for the suaree cool!!!!! ~ Mom to 11 DS and Diabetes Type 1 and 7 NY
Guest guest
Patty, Ask the hotel for a refrigerator (cant' remember if they have one or not). The hotel is super small...I'm sure they will help somehow. Also, during the time we are on the field, you can store whatever at one of Kent's relatives homes. His mother in law is right across the road..all other neighbors are in laws. We will also have coolers...many bring their own. When you call the Econolodge, they will tell you that no rooms are left -- make sure you tell them you are with Upsndowns. (unknown) Hi friends, I have been racking my brain about this one - I am thinking it just won't work, but then I thought: I'll ask all of you! I've been thinking about this Suaree coming up in June, and would like to go. We could drive-from Columbus OH it would be maybe 4 hours, stay at the Econolodge as suggested, but the more I thought on this, there is a snag: Olivia is formula-fed through her Gtube. This could get really complicated, trying to keep formula cool (she is on 30 calorie Similiacw/iron, so I have to mix it myself) bringing the syringes, rinsing them each time...I just see where things could go wrong. But maybe, if someone here has a baby in the same situation, and are planning to go, or have done it in the past, could you email me and give me some ideas how to work it out? Maybe I am making a big deal out of it, or maybe it is as easy as bringing a typical formula -fed baby along (somehow, I don't think so!) I haven't tried traveling with Olivia yet, and my husband is being neutral on the subject (honestly, I will be doing most of the work if we travel; he just drives) So any suggestion at all would be appreciated. I would love to meet everyone! Patty, in Ohio- with (18), (5), (almost 3), and Olivia (9 mos., ds) ...trying to figure out how to get out of Ohio! I was just talking to my brother-in-law who is quite knowledgeable about computers. He said that some of the messages that people are receiving from firewall alerts might actually be cookie attempts instead of an actual hacker. Guest guest
I second this program - it's a very good firewall. Our PC is on-line quite a few hours each day, and the firewall gets activated at least a dozen times a day. People are *always* trying to hack in... Zonealarm has been brilliant for us... It's only when you have it installed that you realise how often there are attempts to get into your PC! Guest guest
It is very easy for someone to hack into your computer while your online. For those of us that have an cable, DSL, TI connection, our connections are always on and this is what hackers look for. The best and easiest solution would be to install a firewall program on your computer, which is software that block intruders. You can download a very, very good one at www.zonealarm.com , this is the one that I use. Each time soneone tries to acess your computer you will get a prompt as to allow it or disallow it. Once you download it and read the instructions so you will how to use it properly. --- Sheri Nakken <vaccineinfo@...> wrote: > At 11:14 AM 04/22/2002 EDT, you wrote: > >Okay, this is just scary.
