Guest guest
I am so sorry to hear about how people are treating you and that they are afraid of catching AIH. To deal with ignorance like that is very difficult. When I returned to teaching, I spent the first day back talking to the students. I pulled up a chair and sat facing them. I discussed all that had happened to me in the previous 6 months. I carefully explained that there was nothing that they could catch from me, but because of the nature of my illness and the prednisone I was taking, I could catch something from them. They were very respectful and asked thoughful questions. SOmetimes it means taking the time to try to educate people, though we know some just cant. When I was recupping in Atlanta, a few of my friends dropped me and turned their backs on me when they heard what I got. They dont understand the disease nor want to. Hang in there . Guest guest
Hi Diane I know how that goes. I used to work for someone who deducted money for medical insurance out of my pay check every week. I later found out that he had stopped paying the premiums on the insurance but was still deducting the money.Needless to say I made him pay me the money back. Guest guest
Hi , I took the machine back. They did do a refund and put it back on your account. When ever you use a credit card or check card, most places put it back on whatever card you get. The maintance guy looked at it and said you didn't have the gas turned on and that is why it wouldn't start and why the rope broke. I don't know. They said next time to call when you have a problem. Maybe it won't rain this weekend. The wind is blowing so hard out there now. We are suppose to get some bad storms tonight. I was suppose to clean a house today but the lady told me to wait till next week to come. I will TRY to ge to the notebook today. I have soem other things to do that is just as good. The advocate lady is going to the girls school tomorrow and she wants me to at least call the principle and let him know she is coming. Also while I am on the phone I am going to talk to him about a behavior specialist coming up with a plan for Hannah. I hope every thing goes smoothly because I am not in any mood for them to tell me no. Anyway I will use my NOTPAD you got me to document my conversation with the principle. Mrs. Pfleiger told me to write down every conversation I have with the school people and to write down the date the conversation took place. I am feeling some what better but I won't feel completely better until we get the IEP right where I want it to be. I am not sure where that is right now. I just hope everything goes well in the next few months. Well, gotta go get busy. I am going to color my hair today too. I love you, Pam Pam Houser <p_houser37@...> wrote: Hi Everyone, I want to thank all of you who replied to my post about the girls. I must admit all of this really scares me and I think sometimes I just can't do it. I think I am on the right track though. I have an advocate coming tomorrow to observe the girls and she is going to help me with their IEP's. She said we need to wait and see what the evaluation says on the 22nd and go from there. I am going to ask for a behavior specialist to observe Hannah and come up with a plan. My question is who do I ask and what is the best way to do it? Teacher? Principle? School Board? Do I ask for a meeting? Can I just walk into the school and ask? I thought I would ask the teacher. What is the best way to do it? I want to make sure I do everything correctly. The advocate told me to keep a journal and to write everything down I ask for and the date. I went and bought me a notebook desinated for the girls. It will be my Hannah and notebook. I am in a hurry right now but will post a update in a couple of days. You guys are so wonderful and I don't know where you find the energy or the mental power to deal with all we have to deal with. Some days I just want to give up. Thank you so much and BIG HUGS!! Guest guest
What's odd is that they're the ones that insist you carry it, it's really protecting their interest so it seems they would want to make sure it got paid. So now that it's insured, your mortgage company should reimburse you for the unused escrow during the time fram it was uninsured? -dz- diane214@... wrote: -dz- Me? A Hellraiser? Guest guest
Dear Dinesh, I venture to guess that you are writing from somewhere in Southeast Asia or India. Could you be a Khandelwal from the Vrindaban-Mathura area? Fecal contamination is possible when sprouts are handled by workers with unwashed hands, If you grow your own sprouts, a clean water supply and a clean growing medium should guarantee that you will not have E-coli,etc., The contamination of radish sprouts came from the hands of workers who were not scrubbed after using the toilet. Testing is a lab procedure and you need the standards: a culture dish ,incubator and a microscope plus a knowledge of what you are looking for. Another test is to feed the sprouts to some other organism. If it does not develop symptoms of E coli, etc. its probably all right for you to eat them. The key is cleanliness. Guest guest
Dear , You have the amazing ability to get down to roots! Once up in the air we were served moong sprouts and I was delighted to find our airline so much concerned about the good health of their passengers, only to discover later to my utter dismay that the sprouts had been contaminated(though not by e-coli or salmonella).Of course while growing sprouts in the house we have not encountered such problems, except for molds growing sometimes on the sprouts. Our experiments with sprouts have been also limited only to a few varieties, and when in doubt we boil the sprouts before consuming. --- J <foryehyeh@...> wrote: > Dear Dinesh, > I venture to guess that you are writing from > somewhere in Southeast > Asia or India.
