Dear Mr. Kent,

I am curious as to where you are heading with your

articles on " mental illness " .

For the last 12 years, I have been collecting

information on " mental illness " and the " treatment " of

it. The articles that I sent you certainly imply that

the " treatment " , mainly SSRI antidepressants such as

Prozac, may be a major cause of " mental illness " .

In 1998, Chad Yurko simply wanted to commit

suicide. Now, suicidal ideation is a very common side

effect of most SSRI drugs. Prozac especially has a

long history of causing suicide. Please check out

www.baumhedlundlaw.com/media/timeline.html

Approximately 12 Americans commit a Prozac induced

suicide every day. Mr. Yurko's latest brush with the

police suggests that he is now taking Paxil. Agressive

behavior among males taking Paxil and drinking alcohol

is very common. The judge's sentence of ordering him

to take all his medications basically amounts to

" cruel and unusual punishment " .

The judge in your article about the victims of the

mentally ill was also very wrong to state... " With the

miracles of medication, he will get better " . It is

highly unlikely that anyone taking SSRI

antidepressants will " get better " .

Drug companies have long claimed that one in five

people will become severely depressed and require

treatment, but that only half of them will seek

treatment. BUT.... 70% of SSRI users are adult women.

That means over 20% of all adult women are taking

these poisonous drugs. In Utah, the most drugged state

in the USA, over 30% of the adult women are on these

drugs. In Canada, Prince Island is the most

drugged up province.

When bizarre violent crimes occur, such as a woman

killing her babies or some guy shooting his co

workers, the experts are quick to claim that these

people were " mentally ill " and weren't responding to

treatment. BUT, OVER 95% OF THESE BIZARRE CASES

INVOLVE SSRI ANTIDEPRESSANTS. WHY ARE THERE NO

INCIDENTS INVOLVING " MENTALLY ILL " PEOPLE WHO AREN'T

TAKING THESE DRUGS ?

Mr. of CMHA is correct is claiming that

" Trouble can arise when they stop taking their meds " .

BUT, it does not lead back to the original illness.

SUICIDE AND DEPRESSION are now listed as side effects

of these drugs. For over 15 years, the medical

community was repeatedly told that these drugs were

not " addictive " . In the last year, the drug companies

have started to put warnings on the labels of

addiction problems. GSK, the makers of Paxil, are

being sued by over 6,000 plaintiffs who have suffered

tremendously trying to get off the drug.

Along with virtually all the baby killings, school

shootings, workplace killings and suicides, these

drugs are responsible for many divorces and a whole

pile of health problems.
