Pffffffftt! Let's not forget that Van Gogh used to lick his brushes, which

had been soaked in what, was it linseed oil, I can't remember, but it was well

known back then that ingesting this substance could make you crazy as hell.

If Van Gogh had been doped with Prozac, I doubt that his art would have ever

been as good as it was battling his demons. And I'm never going to buy into

this " depression is a disease " b.s. -- that's coming straight from Big Pharmas

mouth.

Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again. It's

Unsafe At Any Dose

The oils were lead based. Very toxic

http://www.aacap.org/publications/factsfam/lead.htm and causes psychiatric

" symptoms " .

http://www.vangoghgallery.com/visitors/summary.pdf gives an interesting look

at Van Gogh's lead poisoning.

I wonder whether Kramer is on drug company subsidy for his books?

van Goh had temporal lobe epilespy. http://www.harvardmag.com/issues/

Big Pharma wants us to believe EVERYONE has some reasong to take their

magic little pills. They're main focus is to convince as many people

as possilbe that they are depressed and need to take a pill for it.

Hey, so what if they aren't particularly effective for most people,

they're safe!

Depression is a disease! I had it and I was a completely different

person than I am today. HOwever, I don't endorse any of

the 'remedies' that Pharma has to offer. If Pharma just makes that

declaration in order to sell the 'cure' then I wouldn't believe it

because it's being used as a sales pitch IMHO.

People need to understand that depression is real and that they

shouldn't just ignore it but seek help (hopefully from a Nutritionist)
