Guest guest
One of the big box tool stores is promoting, on TV around here, the sale of a spray lubricant containing a silicone compound that in some people can cause severe allergic reactions and nurological disorders. I know because I have lost some use of my right hand as a result of using their product. I used the stuff at work over a period of about 6 months and started to get problems with severe joint pain but one day I used the stuff a lot and then it hit me like a brick as previously I had no idea what was causing the problem becaese i did not experience any noticeable sympoms while using it or even an hour after using it. There are a lot of spray lubricants that contain this stuff, but this company is promoting the use of the stuff in homes and on personal items as if it should be in every home. I am wondering if I can sue for damages if an allergist can confirm my allergic reaction to the stuff especially since they are promoting the use of the stuff on personal items now? Guest guest
I would get a free consulation with a lawyer. If its work related, workmans compensation might be an avenue you can take. Here in Maine, one of our new supermarkets had a refrigeration system hose burst, causing a toxic and deadly gas to pour into the air and people were dropping left and right. Lawsuits will be coming I am sure. The gas is very flammable and one errant ash could have caused an explosion. You trust companies to let you know what is safe and whats not. The store rented the refrigeration units, so the store will sue and so will the people. They were having a grand opening with coupons, but I didnt go, thank goodness. I have enough problems with Ra as it is. Good luck.
