Thanks. Also, the FDA was investigating ceratin birth defects that involved mothers taking Zoloft while pregnant, including facial abnormalities and limb-length discrepancy. I have yet to fully grasp the insanity of putting any pregnant woman on these drugs for any reason when the risks to the baby are not fully known. They advise against drinking alcohol, coffee, and smoking cigarettes, yet there are some doctors who are still so ignorant that they think it's okay for the mother to take mind-altering addictive psychiatric drugs. What is the world coming to??? " Blind Reason " a novel of pharmaceutical intrigue Think your antidepressant is safe? Think again. It's Unsafe At Any Dose

This week I just had the first case of infant removal because the mom would not take her anti-depressants and was deemed uncooperative. This is now what the mandatory screenings will become on the pregnant mothers. Again I do not know how to emphasize enough the importance of obtaining some type of right to refuse treatment forms. This was the first coerced drugging of a parent I have seen. My foundation has these forms available but also we plan to back these up with press conferences. Guest guest
International and Canadian reports reveal that some newborns whose mothers took these medications during pregnancy have developed complications at birth requiring prolonged hospitalization, breathing support and tube feeding. Reported symptoms include: feeding and/or breathing difficulties, seizures, muscle rigidity, jitteriness and constant crying. In most cases, the newer anti-depressant was taken during the third trimester of pregnancy. These symptoms are consistent with either a direct adverse effect of the anti-depressant on the baby, or possibly a discontinuation syndrome caused by sudden withdrawal from the drug. Would you please provide the sources / links to these " International and Canadian reports " ? I would like the citations so that I can access the primary documents. Thank you. J. Elliott, L.Ac.
