Guest guest
, You can order some natural products, like air filters and fragrance free body care products, from www.needs.com or www.gaiam.com - just look for products that say " fragrance free " for your body care/hair care products (you can check out my web site for more information on what it means to be " fragrance free, " to help you avoid triggers you might not be aware of - www.angelfire.com/ri/strickenbk/fragrancefree.html). Natural hair gels (if you care) can be made out of gelatin and water (must be refrigerated). Some health food stores sell a product called UnPetroleum Jelly which I have also found to be good (beeswax-based). A good air purifier can definitely help out. You also might want to see if anything in your home is making you worse. It could be a gas stove, someone smoking in a neighboring apartment. I understand what you're saying, though - I think making incremental changes when you're that sick is important. Try to do the simple things first, and work your way up. Guest guest
Welcome Judith! What athletic/active pursuits do you enjoy? I am interested as I realize one can still do quite a few athletic activities w/ CMT, but I'm always interested in hearing how other CMT'ers remain active and make accomadations to continue activities but also cope with CMT. Also, do you work full/part time or are you working as a homemaker? Do you know what type of CMT you have? (example type 1 or type 2). I apologize if any of these questions are too personal, I'm just curious. I am 31, soon to be 32, and am a Clinical Social Worker. I work with homeless veterans, most of whom have addictions and/or a mental illness. I also enjoy many activities including swimming and diving, skiing (when I have the chance), the beach and camping. Again, Welcome! Guest guest
I had Bio Mark give my son stem cells and he seemed to short term benifit, however, I seen a MS patient from Canada and he swears they gave him sugar water [low dose naltrexone] Re: AutoImmune Hepatitis - Dr. Burt Berkson I see that you have not really received any replies on this--My sister has AIH and I've been wondering about LDN for that as I've done so well on it for my MS. However, since the treatment that seems to work is immune suppressants, I'd been afraid that LDN would counteract that so if you do find out otherwise, I'll be very interested in hearing about it. ALSO: what is " ALA " ? Daphne > > Hello, has anyone had autoimmune hepatitis and been helped/resolved > with LDN? (or any other method besides Prednesone and Imuran). > Also, has anyone had experience with Dr. Burt Berkson of Las Cruces, > N. M. He uses LDN and ALA. Thanks. Guest guest
Hey Group. . . FYI~~my 2 cents only. . . Due to my numerous Chronic Orthopedic Illnessess, ie., OsteoArthritis & OsteoNecrosis etc. In addition to losing the 'FOREVER' Root Canals that cost $$$$$ years ago. I had to have 2 teeth extracted last winter. This winter. . .I have teeth 'crumbling' out of my mouth. I haven't checked as to whether my GOLD has increased (hehehe). Take care, I have ALL in my prayers. . . " K " " K " " I AIN'T FINISHED YET " !!!
