Guest guest
I don't know if this will help or not but thought I would pass it on. My husband and I have been married 39 years. I contacted hep c 25 or so years ago from transfusions during a c-section birth. I just learned that I have hep c about a year ago. I was really worried that my husband might also have it BUT his tests turned out negative for hep c. We also had our daughters tested because we have been known to share the same razor. They were negative also. I am in the early stage of cirrhosis but I feel so relieved that none of the family has acquired this dreadful virus....Good luck....judy thanks to all!! Thanks so much to all that responded to our concerns. This is still so new to us so we are looking for all the info we can get.My heart goes out to all involved and starting tx's. It concerns me how much we have to go thorough to hopefully get better. In my non- experienced mind it's worries me about the odds of tx...but i will cross that biridge when i get there. My heart and wishes got you you brave soles I am feeling much better about things as each day goes by. I can honestly say that I feel so good about the fact that this will not be easily transmitted to , we both can work this out at our own pace i guess. Rog is very concerned as we both, respectivly, should be. Knowing that couples still can carry on in a normal sex life thrills me to peices..this is still a concern for my Rog. One day at a time. Hearing from non-infected spouses may help as well...He is a paramedic so protection is 1st. and respectfully so. Thanks again...hugs to you all
