I don't know how to get that old post, can I get gloria's address so I can

send my $11???????/

PICNIC REMINDER

I spoke with Gloria and including herself, we have 15 responses so

far. From all the activity on the post op e group regarding the

picnic, it looks like there is quite a bit of interest. Please be sure

to send in your checks for $11.00 each made out to Gloria Dean as soon

as possible so we can get a real idea of who is coming. You can find

all of the picnic details on the post op list, post #9594. On the pre

Would you like me to create a database to log payments similar

to the one to track lodging?

Actually, it would be better if Glo created the database. You see,

when creating a database that you do not want list members to

be able to edit and lord we know how these list members love to

edit databases lol, you only have one option to lock the edit key

and that choice would be that only the creator and the group

moderator can add and edit files.

So if I created the database then Glo would have to email me the

info and then I would have to enter it....which I would be glad to

do. However, for time sake....and because I know Glo is a

computer whiz and could easily create one of these databases

cause heck....I did it lolol.....well then it might be best if Glo made

it up herself.

Anyway it is a thought as to how to log receipt of payment,

amount, and who has paid.

Thanks for the offer, Beth. I think Gloria pretty much has it under

control. By the way, do you live in this area? The reason I ask is

we are looking for a few more folks to help with the Support Group on

a regular basis. Basically, it's me, Ginny, and Gloria right now. If

I would like to elaborate on the clothing exchange just a little.

Last year when I helped to sort and size all the left overs, we came

across some sad surprises. Visible stains and obvious holes or tears.

Please check your clothes carefully before bringing them to the

Exchange. For most of us, clothing has been a real source of

psychological distress. " Nothing fits " , " Why can't they make anything

cute in my size " , " I'll buy it anyway and lose into it " . It can be a

real heartbreak to find something wonderful, get it home, and find that

it has some irrepairable problem. Thank you for your time and

consideration.
