Dear Dawn,

I didn't keep track of whomever I was communicating with. I have

been looking everywhere. The latest fields were geneticists and

pediatricians.

Dear Suzy,

I was referring to the doctor who has a hard time believing that could be suffering from extrapyramidal side effects, even though he is no longer taking psychiatric meds... A female doctor. Is she a psychiatrist or a neurologist?

Dear Malinda,

My son would not be pleased if I downloaded a file into his computer. I

probably have " accidently " done things like that. He complains that it is

slowing his computer. If you don't mind, can you please mail me the tables?

Dear Suzy,

I understand. I've been working with scanning it and sending as a photo file, but the text isn't showing up correctly. It would be much easier to mail it. Do you want the whole article or the tables only? I'll let you know when I get them into the mail. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help.

Dear Dawn,

Thank you for remembering that I am at outlook express. I don't know why outlook

just didn't send your mail to hotmail where it would be frozen. Otherwise, I

would say we could reroute all the mail here.

Hi, True!

I'm doing well, thanks for asking. I too have decided to retrain.

I am studying for the CA Real Estate License. Gotta finish in three

months and I'm guaranteed a job. I'll be very good at it, I know!

Time for a change. Chemo showed me that much....

I'm glad you're doing well, True. What are you studying?

Hugs and prayers,

HI Bonnie

Yes I had that as a side affect in the beginning but it went away. Also when I first started to take it I was jittery which could be blood pressure. Good luck and I am glad to hear your doc is on top of things!

Suzy :o)

Suzy

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I've been on a very low dose ofBenazepril (?) for high BP since June last year (part of the reason Igot serious about losing weight). Since exercising, have seen it falla lot, so was actually going in to see about stopping it, but sinceshe put me on Wellbrutrin, she said to keep taking it and "we'll see".So far, so good...my BP isn't as low as it was, but it's not about120/80, either.Say, did you have any side effects from Wellbutrin? I have a ringingin my ears that I don't notice too much during the day, but when it'squiet, it really bothers me.-Bonnie>> I suffer from depression too. I have been on meds since my dd wasborn and she is 7. My new doc is wheening me off wellbitrin right nowbecause I have high blood pressure and it was making it worse. SoBonnie be careful if you have high BP. I take Lexapro right now and itworks well.> Suzy :o)>

Good luck on your decision! I was in the same place deciding on the band and/or the sleeve. The cost was more, but in the long run, I decided on the sleeve for the simple fact that I did not want to go running to the doctor to have a fill, then an unfill, then an adjustment here, or a slip there....it was too much of a hassle. Additionally, the cost goes up with all of the travel and adjustments with the band....it is not free...so I imagine it all equals out in the end!

I just wanted the surgery and be done with it! For those who had the band and now have the sleeve, they enjoy the sleeve much more and no more pain and fill problems. However, the people who have the band and have relatively few issues, love the band. But I just didn't want to risk being one of the people who have issues with the band.

So, here I am now a sleevester and loving it! I just ate a vege patti and cooked two like I used to do....not thinking. I started eating one and just barely got through the one and gave the other one to my son. The sleeve is so good at making you so full that looking at food is not even tempting. I am so full now that just thinking of putting one more bite in my mouth is sending waves of gag pictures through my mind.

I feel full in the sense like after a Thanksgiving dinner......second helpings....maybe thirds...and I can hardly breathe I was so full....that is a similar feeling with the sleeve but even more since prior to my sleeve....I could always scrap up a little more room for dessert....but now with this full feeling...the thought of something sweet is so unpleasant!

But it is a good unpleasant thought because Dr. Aceves said: "The sleeve will be training you. You will not be training your stomach how to eat....the sleeve will be doing that." That is sooooo true!

I wish you the best in your decision!

Warmly,

Gail

Hi, Susy

I have a home in San Felipe and when I came across the border in April, the border patrol criticized me for not having my passport. I just forgot it that time. So, you don't need a passport to get into Mexico but you will to get out.

Am very interested to hear if you go for the sleeve. I spoke to the office last week and was quoted $9,500. for the sleeve, about $2000. more than the band. From what I read from the bandsters, the band seems like a lot of hassle. Please keep us posted.

[Dr-Aceves-bandster s] Traveling from Los Angeles to Mexicali to visit Dr. Aceves

After much thought and prayer, I have decided to have either the LapBand or sleeve procedure performed with Dr. Aceves. I'm still not decided which....However, my question is this: for those of you traveling from the US to Mexicali, is a passport necessary if you are driving across the border?

Suzy,

Oh, how lovely, Whippets. I had a greyhound adopted from the track. Her name was Sasha. She was wonderful. My daughter wants a whippet someday.

I do not know how you have held off so long without taking your migraine meds. Five days. I admire your strength.

I have included a link to IMAGO. The link explains better than I can. Nell did amazing her first time in a session. I was very proud of her.

http://gettingtheloveyouwant.com/

It is my hope that something will happen so you will not have to postpone your wedding. It is such an exciting time. I truly hope that something that important will go as scheduled.

I think I am headed down the migraine path again today. I am having trouble with my left eye, the side of the pain and my shoulder/back is in spasm. I am going to use my natural pain drops first before I resort to my migraine meds. My Topomax is upped to twice daily as well.

Read about the IMAGO. It is an amazing.

hugs,

Sue

Hi Sue,I love my whippet...he's the best thing we ever got! I've attached a photo of my baby at his first show! This is the breeder in the back ground...not me - I was behind the camera! He's considerably bigger now...but this is one of the only photos I've got of him at work! I grew up on a farm with lots of animals...so i've been away from that atmosphere for more than 20 years now (except when I visit my Mom) and that's how long it's been since i had a dog too! It took me 6 years to convince to get one...and now it's hillarious...I don't think he could stand being without him! Sighthouds are just so beautiful, very loyal and affectionate. When I come home, if I give paul a hug first piper is right in between us demanding that I go sit on the couch so

he can give me a cuddle and a huge lick (usually in the form of a wet willie....tongue in the ear...ewwwe!) He's very sweet natured my puppy. (he's 2 now!) He is a show dog and has won quite a few blue ribbons now....I'm trying to get our breeder to enter him in more shows....but she thinks he's too tall..mmmm. Tell your daughter she couldn't ask for a nicer breed of dog. Greyhounds are beautiful too ....as you're obviously aware with owning sasha! My dream is to one day run a rescue shelter for all sighthounds. Right now...(alongside my full time job) I've been making whippet collars and coats...I just delivered some puppy collars down to the breeder...nice material ones for the pups...with interfacing to stiffen them a bit and mock suede on the inside! She loved them! :D Unfortunately, I can't do any more right now because my needle broke in the machine on Sat night and it's jammed in the rotary device well

and good...so i'm waiting for the sewing machine mechanic to come and fix it! I love my machine.... it's older than me too! the good thing is it sews through most anything...no fancy stitches just a plain sewing machine!Imago sounds & looks very interesting....I'll look at that tonight more when I get home...doesn't look like its too widespread in Australia tho! Looks like it's based in Perth which would be like living in LA and going to NY!! haha. That's way across the other side of the country for me! And the stupid thing is it would almost cost me as much to fly from Syd to LA as what it would to fly to Perth! Well....almost!I too hope that the wedding will go ahead in Oct....but we always said when we made the decision, that if we couldn't do it in spring then we would wait until Autumn (fall).....so if it doesn't happen in Oct...then April May it is! Mind you....it's been so warm

the last couple of days that I'm thinking that we might have to have it next year because the dress I'm ordering from the USA is a cotton velvet dress and is costing me a motza to send from there to here in Sydney....it weighs 5lbs!!! But it sure is nice! :DI guess I just don't really like the way the medication leaves me feeling.....It's just a dull ache today...so it's nowhere near as bad. I had made the decision to take one when I got home last night....but i think the puppies cured it for the most part and I could cope again! I honestly thought my head was going to just explode yesterday! I too get weird things happening in my eyes when I get migraines...I really feel for you. I hope your migraine leaves you alone....its quite debilitating having that thumping going on all the time... I hope your back and shoulder start behaving themselves too....have you tried wheatpacks for the pain in your back and

shoulder? you probably have....but I mentioned that to someone the other day and they had no idea what I was talking about! Wheatpacks usually helps me!Take care and I hope everyone is painfree and happy today.............much love,x From: Urbanczyk <featherednst@...> Sent: Monday, 24 August, 2009 2:09:52 AMSubject: Re:
