Guest guest
Just a note to let you all know that I am starting my therapy tommorow. I have to go to the Doctors office at 2:30. I didn't wind up qualifying for the study I was trying to get into, but I got free meds from the Commitment to Care Program which came via UPS on Tuesday. I still have to pay for my lab tests and doctors visits but at least they are on a sliding scale. I really do not know what to expect. I'm a bit nervous but I also know that God has carried me through so much in my life and He will carry me through this if I need Him to. Can anyone tell me what their first shot was like and what happened or how they felt? Did you feel ill? If so, did it happen right away or a few days later? Would you suggest I plan on 4th of July (Sunday), or do you think I will feel like celebrating? I talked to one person who has been through treatment (it worked for him) and he said that he was very ill. I just kind of want to know if it happens right away and is it just around your shot days and how long it usually lasts. I know everyone is different but I'd really appreciate it if you could share some of your stories with me. I don't mind the truth. I guess its the unknown that is the scariest for me. Thanks so much for being here. I don't post a whole lot, but I read everyone elses and it has helped me so much. Sincerely,
Guest guest
My first shot was by far the worst...don't be nervous...you can handle it The worst effects occured about 4 hours later but if you are planning to do something a few days later, you'll probably be fine I put to much of my life " on hold " after the treatment...my mistake...enjoying life...laughing....these are good preventive measures to some of the tx side effects Maxwell <marymax34@...> wrote: Just a note to let you all know that I am starting my therapy tommorow.
