Guest guest
I've been reading these messages with great interest. I can confirm that a Recluse or Violin spider bite can be a very serious business. Some ten years ago a friend of mine was bitten, became very ill and died in hospital a few days later. He was 35 and generally in good health but had a history of a heart problem(perhaps from rheumatic fever earlier in his life). Treating a Recluse spider bite with an antibiotic sounds like medical negligence, to me. I've read about farmers using electric fence chargers for snake bite, and others using auto spark plug leads, but a stun gun ... that's news to me. All the best, Jon
