we don't really know. I would take a first guess that it is like a pumpkin,

because people treating colds and sinus infections also find no plaque on their

teeth. So, some of it is diving down into the mouth. The mouth is lower than

the straight-across pathway, so there is apparently some blooming out of the

current. (*the mouth is also very wet and conductive compared with rest of the

face, so current would flow easily there.
