Guest guest
sure. how about some kind of 'Illa electrode that encapsulates the end of the toe? a wire screen of stainless steel? i'd prefer pure silver, but finding screen in other than aluminum window screen gets tricky...any ideas? the cone-type permanent coffee filters might be good parts donors. also at the " electrode shop " they have the flexible contacts with a layer of silver in them, but for a make-it-from-the-hardware-store-cheap version i think i'll have to walk the aisles & sniff. cheers, bobL myspace: http://www.myspace.com/bob021147 ebay: http://stores.ebay.com/bobLs-fine-flotsam homepage: http://www.toad.net/~blarson/ > ToeZilla? > > > Anyone think I should work up a godzilla-like device aimed at > oncymycosis? > > Just asking. Guest guest
Try McMaster Carr.com for other metals screening ToeZilla? > > > Anyone think I should work up a godzilla-like device aimed at > oncymycosis? > > Just asking. Copper is lots more benign, less toxic, maybe OK for short exposures. Aluminum could get you into a chelation therapy sequence [$3,000 if you find somebody that knows how to handle it]. 304 S.S. 60 wires / inch mesh screen is available at www.mcmasters.com; 1 x 2 ft sheet is about $20 + frt; works fine, is stable, flexible so it deforms to your compound surface curves. Look up a yr or so ago how to prep it for soldering; will need a high temp adjustable iron & leadless solder - possible but a P.I.A. since acid flux was used & it wicks up the wire, corrodes under the insulation when wet. You can sew copper wires onto it; makes an OK joint but WILL corrode if any salt is used. Will need about a 2 " long contact w wire to survive flexing. When you cover it - make it easy to peel back so you can inspect the wire contact, repair when needed. If you can find any copper rivets - can use flat S.S. washers under the head & set ends for a more permanent joint. Plan on using a meter for a continuity check before each use - end of fabric to wire end; have some spares till you determine the life expectancy. Joe. Guest guest
I tried the DC electrodes at 11.04 volts DC for four weeks with no effect whatsoever. What did work within a week to soften and take away the ugly yellow color was plain ole Hydrogen peroxide sprayed on my toes twice a day. I still had to use my Dremel " Minimite " cordless rotary tool ($40)to periodically remove thick skin and nail buildup. After spending over $350 for a podiatrist to go thru the unsuccessful 'treatment' of curing me, I bought the same tool he used and did it myself. The strong pills and other creams I took had no affect. Dr. Mercola.com recommended Vick's Vaporub. I started that and within two weeks I could tell the difference in the softness of the cuticle and skin. My procedure is twice a day I wash my toes then apply (supermarket) 3%hydrogen peroxide. Let it dry. Apply vinegar - let it dry. then apply Vick's Vaporub. Interestingly a week after this daily procedure my urine took on an extremely strong odor telling me the eucalyptus was absorbing into my system and doing it's 'thing'. I was going to try Urine rubbed on my toes followed with the Vaporub which would help the absorption (Urea is what increases absorption) but I'm think my toes are getting the message. Since my toenails grow so slowly, it will be months before I know if all this removes the fungus. The skin on my thumb and first finger ends usually thicken up, crack and painfully bleed in the winter. Within a week they are normal from the applications to my toes !! I've had this fungus for 15 to 20 years. I broke my great (big) toe four years ago and they X-rayed it 4 to 6 times. The last 3 times the other toes were shielded. I have no fungus on that broken toe while the other four on that foot are fungal. So X-ray radiation will cure it ! Who knows the side effects. You heard of the X-ray sham the Israelis pulled on their Russian Jew populous to prevent and/or " cure " ringworm? They succeeded in annialating most of them !! Look it up. Guest guest
I don't think dc is going to prove good on toes. Thanks for the report. Think I'll shelve ToeZilla for now. I've not had great luck on toes except one germ infection cleared right up. bG > > I tried the DC electrodes at 11.04 volts DC for four weeks with no > effect whatsoever. >
