Guest guest Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 I would like to make a brief report. There is no doubt now, at least in my mind, that electricity is where its at when seeking an alternative to target infections that CS, which I consider another, but different bullet,is not powerful enough to infiltrate. And I must add the comment, that there are people who have reported diminishing HepC viral loads using CS. BG, don't knock anyone for taking ideas, even yours, and experimenting a bit further. This group is a valuable " think tank " . Since last Sunday I've been dealing with something I was beginning to believe (as of yesterday morning) was the progressive development of a bad case of bronchitis, perhaps even pneumonia. I'd been on Vit C, herbs, EOils, etc. No typical fever or chills symptoms, but head congestion that went to the chest which made made my lungs sound like simmering, wheezing cauldrons. Mucous is pretty much clear which makes me think viral. Unlike most (men especially) I have not the skills to hack it up so unless I took steam or a heating pad to loosen the material, I saw no mechanical means to clear the chest/lungs. Not UNTIL, the coughing became so bad my side began to hurt did I go for the " Glove " . I had used it once or twice during the week, maybe 20 minutes. Yesterday, I took it out, again, used it almost all day, and slept with it almost the entire night placed at the center of the chest near the clavicles. When the Glove was on my chest, I sometimes used a heating pad on my back. When placing glove on back, heating pad with EO of eucalyptus was on my chest. I know that the heating pad was but an loosing agent/aid to the Glove, (one) which I believe did all the work, like air would act in a tire. The heating pad alone, made little difference other than it was comforting. This morning, there is a world of difference in my breathing, and the amount of mucous and tightness has lessened significantly. For the last few days I was not even capable of taking breaths deep enough to cough the stuff up or blow my nose. This morning, I can at least breath deeply but the congestion is still there, deep in the lungs. Lesson learned by trial and error. My error was not initially using the glove with enough diligence. The condition/virus, which is persistent, has not cleared completely, but I will not make the error of thinking that because there is improvement I can slack off and not be villigent until its completely gone. I bought a few sponge brushes last week. Today I plan to make the paddles thinking they may be better suited for easier placement and taping to an area. > > We haven't found any microbes that could resist dc current. Guest guest Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 You mean you only used one glove? What did you do with the other one? How did the electricity flow through the body if you didn't use two? I'm cornfused. Lol Also, if you still have it, and think it's viral, you might want to mist some CS into your mouth as you breath deeply in, so that it goes down into the lungs. I've heard this is very helpful. You can just get a nasal spray bottle, dump out the contents, rinse and fill with CS, then pump it a few times, aimed at the back of your throat, as you breath deeply in. Guest guest Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 thanks for the report, filed. I've had " ok " results with bronchial/lung infection and batteries. I seem to be able to stop it but to get rid of the cough have needed antibiotics or inhalers. Not sure yet as to our limits to what we can/cannot do with respiratory conditions. If bacterial, then we have a much larger area and degree of spread of the germs. One thing I'm thinking lately: lower power over the whole area of lungs for a longer period, like an hour or two at a low power with electrodes placed around the area to criss-cross the paths of electricity through the lungs. Sinus infections seem to do better with longer application times and lower power. They are probably bacterial in many cases. CS has been useful with hep-c, you're right. I'd suspect if the liver is not too clogged up, as in early stages, it might be more useful than later when things are clogged up. We had an advanced case in which CS got it and kept it down to 2.2 mil. DC reduced that to 14k in 15 weeks. When DC stopped it climbed to 800k in 3 weeks. So, down 99 percent with DC + CS, and up again with just CS. Not tested with just DC, so it could also be a combinational effect. If I had hep-c I'd definitely take some CS and use DC. bG > > > > We haven't found any microbes that could resist dc current. Adding > > silver is supposed to do what? Guest guest Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 i'm one to testify as to the power of CS alone on hep-C. don't have numbers, but went from being ddesperately pagued with increasing symptoms of all sorts to pretty much symptom free in 2 months. when i get my paddles assembled, & then some gloves made, i'm going to combine with CS for sure. i believe that article recently posted here & now in the files by robert o. becker about microcurrents generating stem cells that regenerate needed tissues involved using CS in combo. i think they might need to work together to do the stem cell trick? also read something else recently indicating that electric currents over some power level caused cancers to grow, but at very low power caused them to stop growing and/or die. i don't remember the figures, but it appeared while reading that we're in the desired range. cheers, bobL > > CS has been useful with hep-c, you're right. Guest guest Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 I only had " one " made for myself. For others, I made two. Oh well. Paddles are on my list of things to do today. And why not just one glove? The electricity is going to flow regardless. Again, last night I fell asleep with the glove positioned at the chest. This morning, the congestion is better still. I am not into needless suffering or sadism but the most I will go for re meds at this time is a decongestant to further help break down the mucous, and I'll buy that today. Whatever type of infection it is...its nasty. As to the CS, I've been keeping a water bottle half filled with CS/ other half plain water and sip throughout the day. Today, Im' going for straight undilluted CS through the day. Conclusion: I haven't been aggressive enough. > > You mean you only used one glove? What did you do with the other one? Consistent IMMEDIATE use can get them stopped; only symptom next day MIGHT be a mild herx reaction; don't even get a runny nose. Delay 6 hrs - add a day to recovery, some nose drain. Have a mod for big pads like those needed for lung clearing - a current limiter ckt that stops the polarity switching transients, delays the equivalent capacitance charge change to about 20 seconds for completion; awaiting parts for testing. Will advise re results in a wk or so. Joe. > > Quote
Guest guest Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Um, I guess I'm just not getting it. Yes, electricity will be " on " no matter what--IF both connections are hooked up to something, right? So, if your battery was only hooked to one connection, how was it on? Or did you hook the end of the glove wire to both terminals? I thought you had to have a positive and a negative hooked up--both terminals. I could see a glove on one terminal and just a wire on the other, but just one terminal and one glove? I'm sorry--I'm just not understanding. Yes, I found that not only does a person have to be aggressive when something is coming on--or here already--but it's best to keep it up for a few days after you feel better or cured. Because sometimes we are NOT cured and it comes back. And normally, when something comes back, it comes back with a vengeance. Samala -------Original Message------- I only had " one " made for myself. For others, I made two. Oh well. Paddles are on my list of things to do today. And why not just one Glove? Guest guest Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 yes you got it right, there has to be a complete circuit closed loop. probably used one glove for one side and simply a single contact of some sort somewhere for the other. cheers, bobL myspace: http://www.myspace.com/bob021147 ebay: http://stores.ebay.com/bobLs-fine-flotsam homepage: http://www.toad.net/~blarson/ > Re: Re: All the jazz about silver > > > Um, I guess I'm just not getting it. Guest guest Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 You could combine gloves and paddles. You would use one glove and one paddle. That would be pretty well balanced. If using just one small electrode and one glove or paddle, the small electrode will limit how much current flows in the whole thing. bG > > Um, I guess I'm just not getting it. Guest guest Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 LOL....hmmm. Maybe it's me who is not getting it. One glove....wired to both battery posts +/- with alligator clips. One glove with copper leads covered with cloth and wired and secured with electrical tape to two leads then connected to positive/negative terminals. > > Um, I guess I'm just not getting it. Guest guest Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 Hi BG, A point of concern here please. Using a small electrode will force all the current through a small patch of skin, causing the skin and tissues underneath to burn. The smallest electrode area that I personally would ever think of using would be 1/4 " x 1 " and preferable nothing less than 1 " x1 " if at all possible. I have suffered burns on ankle skin from 1/4 " x 1/2 " sticky electrodes so that size will cause burns. My take on electrode size is to go as big as possible to decrease the current density (mA current / sq inch area ) and would advise using more than 1 square inch of electrode area. By design the max current in my units should not be greater than 1mA, limited by a resistor or a rocksolid current controller. For a 9v unit I fit a 9k1 ohm or a 10k ohm inline. For your 6v units you could use a 6k2 ohm which should be readily available. That way they cannot wind it up beyond 1mA . However they can still hurt themselves if they allow all the power to flow through a small area, say the rounded end of a crocodile clip , or a dangle of wet thread after the rest of the wrap has dried. Guest guest Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 you can't or should not, wire one glove to both battery posts. Each glove has one wire for one post. the other post can be wired to anything except the same glove. bG > > > > Um, I guess I'm just not getting it. Guest guest Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 Here's some ideas: 1. putting a needle into an artery reduces the resistance 700 times. It will allow a lot lot lot of current into the body. (we know not to do it, right?) That can kill you because too much current will descend into the body via blood, which is very conductive. The skin is a pretty good if not perfect conductor. 2. putting the same needle flat down on the skin will let very little current in because the area of skin conducting this current has a resistance. 3. the resistance of an electrode laying on the skin has uniform density for the most part. The larger area does not change the density of resistance per sq mm. Add more sq mm in the wire and resistance in the whole wire will drop, yes. But if you use one small electrode and one large electrode, their resistances will be additive since the current passes through each of them and will be resisted by each in turn. The result will be whatever current flows through a wire having x + y resistance, where x and y are the separate resistances of each paddle, glove, single electrode, etc. If you put a tiny dot of a metal electrode on the skin and wet it, and keep it wet, after awhile it will probably make a hole in the skin. IF you cover with cloth or sponge, it will also do that but it takes longer. And it has to be wet the whole time. If using one single electrode of 1/4 " x 1 " and you use 6 volts, let's say your current comes out to: .5ma. IF a glove is used on the other side of the battery, and the glove has 5 of these same sized electrodes, then the whole glove will use .5mA and each finger electrode will use .1ma. It is being limited by the highest resistance in the circuit which is that of the smaller single electrode. Since the current in the glove is totally the same as that in the single electrode, and each finger is about the same size then each finger will carry about the same or .1ma current. The current is a total value and is limited by total resistance in the circuit. At each point, the current is the same. This is just like the garden hose idea, where any pinch affects the entire flow, no matter where in the hose. You probably know all this, it's just an summary for the group about what's going on and why. bG > > Hi BG, > A point of concern here please. The smallest electrode > area that I personally would ever think of using would be 1/4 " x 1 Quote
